"Our first impression was very good because the location nice , but remote. Our first night , there was the worst we had seen anywhere in the world. "me and my girlfriend stayed here for 1 night to go to the Phuket Elephant Sanctuary that’s quite close. we self checked in at 7pm. room was tidy and clean with awesome AC. The staff is very helpful and assisted us with anything she could (helps get taxi, answers all questions about area). would stay here again however the area surrounding is just some small quiet town with not a lot going on (however the locals are VERY friendly and we were easily able to hitchhike the 5 min drive to elephant...

"We had an incredible stay at the Marriott Phuket Merlin Beach. Our swim-out room was absolutely amazing — the perfect blend of luxury and relaxation. The beds were extremely comfortable, and we especially loved the day bed on our patio, where we spent many afternoons napping and soaking in the peaceful atmosphere. The staff and amenities were fantastic from start to finish. The food and drinks were delicious, and everyone we met went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. A very special thank you to Ice, whose compassion and understanding during a family issue meant more to me than he knows. His assistance was truly appreciated. And a big thank you as well to Dew, who greeted us with such warmth every day — he is the sweetest young man and always made us feel welcome. We highly recommend this resort and would return in a heartbeat!"
