"I liked this hotel very much. It is extremely well-located, the staff is very nice and responsive, and it has nice views of a park. The motel name is misleading. It is a hotel, not a motel, and very appealing. "

"Room was spacious and the beds were very comfy. Room temp was easily set to perfection. Water pressure was a bit low and the shower setting a bit finicky so i had to set it for the kids. Breakfast was really good. Great selection and great taste. "

"We walked to hotel from Waverley Rail station was 30 min walk. Get a taxi if got cases and bags. Lovely walk otherwise to Princes street. Can walk to town centre by side of river through Leith Gardens. Lovely walk. Hotel staff were quick to book us in. room was lovely, big, clean, tea coffee milk biscuits. Shower, hair and soap in bathroom. Shower curtain was spotlessly clean. Lovely big soft towels. We were overlooking the river which was nice. We had a very pretty lounge next to our room. Staff were very friendly and on hand for any questions or replenishment of room stuff. Didn’t have breakfast so cannot comment on that but smelt lovely when walking through main lobby. Would recommend this hotel, if able to walk okay but if unsteady on feet you would need to get a taxi ( plenty about) as hotel is down a very steep curvy road from main road to hotel at side of river. "

"Great place to stay, just a 4-5 min walk to the royal mile and close walk to all the main landmarks. Would for sure be booking here again when we come back to this beautiful city. "
