Service staff kept forgetting towels and toilet paper, sometimes they would not even clean the room. The floor tiles lifted in the room and we were not given another room.

Great staff. Very pleasant and helpful. Would have preferred a bar on the ground floor instead of the eighth but thats my preference. Would stay there again.

Ok 2 to 3 star hotel. Showing alot of wear and tear. My rooms air con vibrated very noisy. Staff came to repair it but it did nothing and i was left with the room. Air con duct in room woyld rattle and people had been putting toilet paper around edges to stop it. Decided to leave early.

I had stayed at this hotel a few times before and it was good but somehow it went downhill. The staff seem unfriendly and uncaring and the facilities poorly maintained.

great stay. this is our third time staying at this hotel and its great. has gotten a little bit shabby in the past 3 years but i did notice work commencing when we were there so im sure it will be back to its sparkling best soon

Breakfast - not serve on warmer - almost same variety everyday. Restaurant alot of mosquitoes, my group all got bitten by it. Most likely bred from the small vase placed on table with a stalk of bamboo for ambience. Neighbouring hotel doing renovation thus lobby area do have sewerage smell.

Central location only thing going for it! We broke a glass and had to pay for. Breakfast is generally inadequate, with “hot” food that was always COLD! Fresh fruit wasn’t fresh! Bread and Danish’s were stale!

Overall good for a short, value stay
Was told upgraded ropm on check in being deluxe twin balcony to triple. Bigger room but no balcony which was a bit of a disappointment. Nonetheless, the room was large and clean with comfortable bed. 4th floor okay with 2 fast lifts. Pool and bar on 8th floor great but 1.5m deep so not great for shorter people. Nice and warm though. Few pubs and eateries in same street. Jungceylon really close as was Bangla Rd, the party street.

We arrived in phuket after staying at a some what decent hotel in Bagkok. When we arrived to our very hot and small room we immediately notices handprints all over the glass windows and black marks over the walls. The room itself was tiny and the only good thing I coupd say that was postive about the room was the shower had warm water and was a decent space. The air conditioning what a joke. It would take hours (you having to be in the room for the electricity to work) for the AC to actually work. And it never would go past 23 degrees C which to some that's fine but I'm used to It being 18 or 19 C so for us it was very hot. Other things I thought was bogus is they do not give you free water. You have to pay extra as well as the over priced Breakfast which is not worth the price they make you pay. To top it all off they try to over charge you as much as they can for tours and excursions. We tried getting a hold of an elephant sanctuary to do that the day of but we needed to call them. Well our hotel called them for us and then said it would be 3500 bat when their own website said it would be 2500 including roundtrip pick up... yeah not very honest of our hotel. One more thing the staff does not speak very good English so you kind of have to translate everything on your cell phone if you want them to understand. It's a big hassle. There are literally hundreds of other hotels in Phuket and I wish I would stayed some other place.

Disappointed.
Not what we expected guven previous revues. Can coke spilt in lobby, no cleaning staff mess left until 7 am next day. Breakfast cold at 6.30 in morning. Entrance lights to hotel off by 10.30 visually impaired guests had difficulty walking up the steps to lobby. Corkage on duty free at poolside, nowhere else to drink it other than drinking it in the lobby. Everything so expensive. Highlight of our trip was the street food absolutely delicious.

Location is good as it’s close to Bangla road, however, hotel facilities is so bad. The water leaked out of the shower door when you have shower and wet the whole bathroom floor! The Room is not that clean and staff is trying to ripped you off wand had unpleasant face.

Staying at the Sira Grand
On the positive side, the hotel is in a great location, close to the shopping area and street markets, nightlive, and a short walk from the beach. It's clean and the staff is courteous and always helpful. We loved the rooftop pool and cocktail hour. The rooms were clean and room service was excellent. On the negative side, the breakfast included fried and scrambled eggs, and omelettes, were always cold, the other food meant to be hot was barely warm. The fruit was sometimes overripe. The pastries were also cold, like just out of cold storage. We had a problem with the safe both times we stayed there. Despite that, we would stay here again.

Great place to stay
Nice hotel in a handy central location. The staff are wonderful, friendly and very helpful, especially the pool bar staff. The rooftop pool is lovely and cool. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. Great value for money. The only downside was I had a room with a balcony on the front side of the hotel which was quite noisey. There was construction happening across from the hotel and the early morning/early evening sounds from the Banzaan market were easily heard from my room. Also, the Bangla boxing stadium is only 100 metres away and every other night there is a match and it can get quite loud. It didnt bother me too much but may bother others. I very much enjoyed my 10 night stay and would not hesitate to stay here again.

I've stayed at this hotel on 9 occasions and each visit is usually for a period of 28 nights. I like the location of this hotel, it is close to a number of bars and restaurants that I like to frequent. I have booked another 28 nights in October so I'm certainly very happy with what is on offer.

This is not a 4 star hotel more like a 3 star. rooms are ok with a very small balcony with a air con unit which blows out hot air. Breakfast was good but food was always cold.

During low season
Booking this hotel during low season with cheap price. So for what we pay, can't complain much. Room are big and clean. The only things is bathroom design not very privacy of some one is using the toilet. Very good location for local thai food, close enough to night life. JJ the lady at reception was very good. Roof top pool and bar on top is a bonus,very good atmosphere and relaxing .

Great Location
Really lovely Hotel. Rooms are spacious and clean. Beds are huge. Best Staff, especially "JOY", the barman at the pool, he makes the best cocktails too. Such a lovely, polite man. Totally recommend this Hotel from one Aussie to another. Balcony was great, but not huge, I did have to ask for a chair for balcony. Overlooks the rear of local shops with early delivery of fresh fish, vegies and flowers. Interesting to watch but can stink a little at times, but once cleaned up all good. Really close to Aussie Expat Bar who have great staff and friendly. Very safe road to get to Hotel and close to 7/11's and others. Laundry service and money changers close and good too. Great value for money.

Since we moved in on the second day we had endless blocked toilet problems. We reported it and it was like we created the blockage. It totally put on a damper on us having an enjoyable time. As this is not the first time we have a holiday in Patong it is the first hotel we had such an experience. The F@B supervisor really went out of his way to make us feel welcome every morning for breakfast. Breakfast was always enjoyable. The room cleaners was also very polite and welcoming.Subtitles on TV programmes would be appreciated in English. The pool area is stunning but the roof was leaking when it rained and too hot when it did not rain especially the uncovered area where the loungers are. A few sun umbrellas would make a huge difference as more people would be able to spend time there. But overall we had a good time at Sira Grande
