OK for short stay
Basic, affordable, small. Clean white towel provided. Terrible hard bed , noisy area but close to Bangla Rd and food market. Adequate bathroom and shower size, but bit mouldy, staff more friendlier and attentive than in 2016 when I previously stayed. Overall OK for short stay.

Pros-Location of the hotel was good. Cons-Poor breakfast spread. Cons-Poor Staff attitude as if you owe them a living. Cons-Loss of water usage in the bathroom for about 20 minutes. Cons-Stain bedsheets.

Overall it was pleasant staying, they have given me a Corner room which faced main road , noisy from street and others ( pubs , boxing stadium, ect) lasted till 2-3am and 7-8 am again noisy. Otherwise I was fine with this hotel.

Great hotel for the right price!
Very happy with this hotel for the price we paid (approx AUD$25 per night). It was right in the heart of Patong, right next to Banzaan Night Market which was on every night with a great selection of cheap dishes. The room itself was large enough & clean. The bed was extremely firm which we weren’t thrilled about to begin with but had no problem sleeping on. The air conditioner worked well, too well really... we couldn’t change the temperature so it was either freezing or you had to switch it off. We stayed in room 601 which was a back corner room with no balcony. The location of the room meant no noise from the street, but the housekeeping storeroom is right next door & they are quite loud from about 9:30am slamming down bags of linen right by the door, talking loudly & with their radios at full volume. The room isn’t well sound proofed, you can hear all of the yelling & door pounding from the hallway when people are on their way out/coming back in. Staff were friendly enough & the rooftop pool was clean & nice for lounging. Overall if you can get this hotel for a good price it’s a great option!

A pretty ok budget hotel in Phuket.
Basically a budget hotel with this price don't expect much. Overall still pretty OK for stay, relax n sun bathing @ the roof top pool. Comment : Hot Water supply really vary by time ~ I not sure bcos I'm OK with cool water in d afternoon BUT not in d morning

Great location! Near jancelyon shopping center and bangala boxing stadium, bangala road , clean and super comfort. Adorable rooftop Pool with mountain view, very kind and hardworking housekeeper. We have Pool , but now, it is under renovation and will open in NOVEMBER and we offer alternative Pool now at PHOENIX GRAND PATONG hotel , which is only 30 meters walk, 45 second walk from MIRAGE to PHOENIX, thank you

There was mold all over the room, very bad smell. Also there is no curtain on the big window between the bathroom and the bedroom - and you can see too much through it. Unfortunately we did the check-out immediately and spent 4 nights in another hotel

Everything was okay. Worth the money. Near juceylon mall and 5 mins to bangla. Room was clean. Bed was big. Only thing I felt unhappy was the receptionist who was so unfriendly,unhelpful and looked irritated during my check in and check out. Housekeepers was okay. I would recommend this hotel if you don’t care about service and just for a place to stay.

The shower is disfunctional. Either there is no water, or only cold water and must hurry when there is hot water as it soons stops. Absolutely no water pressure. Its like taking a shower in a light rain. Very loud fire alarms going up in the middle of the night or morning. The pool is dirty. Need to reinvest in water sustem.

Stayed here for 4 nights & it was great really. The room was small but not too small, bed was abit hard but still alright, housekeeping staff was great they clean up my room nicely everyday. The location is perfect! It is actually very near to the walking street & beach just 5mins walk IF u use the shortcut!! Just go through one of the allyway DONT go one big round like we did the first night! Dont be entitled really, if u want a 5 star hotel pay more, if ur on a budget then act like one. They are a business not a charity.

Horrible experience! Wast of Money!
We spent three weeks in south east Asia, this hotel was the worst hotel experience we had. Don't waste your money and energy! First of all, the standard and superior rooms are the same thing, they only use two different names to scam you and make you to pay more money for the same thing. I complained to the manager that they are scamming with naming it differently and he responded he thinks they have been fair (The manager is very unprofessional and impolite). 95% of the superior and standard rooms are facing a black wall. The rooms are very tiny. We stayed there 3 nights, the fire alarm went on every single day (even early in the morning) and they didn’t care to fix it. It’s so hard to communicate with the reception because they speak almost no English. Even to book a taxi to the airport, we prefer to ask one of the neighboring hotels because we couldn't trust the hotel staff. Horrible experience!

Very nice location, the lobby is a mess but the room was perfect, large & clean.. Very nice swimming pool on the roof. I would recommend this hotel

Arrived late flight...24hours reception was good...had a small room issue that night ...they looked at issue then manager switched the room...no problem, they understand. ..great buffet breakfast changes daily...never boring. .rooms clean hotel staff friendly. ...would definitely stay again. .

Cheap and near night life
The location is not far from Patong Beach and surrounded by night life. The price is fair and reasonable. The staffs are nice and friendly. Tne weak point is the swimming pool is too small and close at 5PM.

Value for money! Clean and welcoming
We stayed at the Mirage for 10 nights and paid $30 AUD a night, it was definitely value for money. The hotel is basic not luxurious but it is definitely clean. The buffet breakfast is fantastic, a good selection of hot food, salads, fruit, bread, coffee, tea , juice & an egg station where u can order what ud like. The hotel is about 10 mins to Bangla road & the beach. It’s across the road from Jungceylon shopping mall, the Thai boxing & right next door to the banzaan food night market. There are 2 restaurants, a massage parlor & 2 convenience stores on the same little street. There were a few roudy hotel guests on one night but that didn’t last long. The pool on the rooftop was nice and clean , there were around 15 sun beds. Overall this hotel is value for money.

Not so friendly staff. Drianage in the shower was problematic and leave a pool of water during shower. Bed was two double beds combined together and feel unpleasant if you sleep in the middle. Security was ok and location is very good.

Nice hotel
Nice new hotel near everything .Bazaan fresh market & Jungceylon shopping mall is walkable. Convenient store is near by (7-11) , alot of eateries store near the hotel.hotel room is small but clean & comfortable, but pillow is too soft to sleep .if hotel can provide 2 more pillow each room will be much better!staff is not very friendly but service is good overall.
