I accidentally booked for the wrong dates. I realized the mistake one day after their feee cancelation period. I asked to change the dates rather than cancel and they would not accommodate even though they had openings as I could still book the correct dates online. I chose to go elsewhere.

You did not stay here yes you made a booking and you think you were going to stay in a private apartment but you booked a bed in a dorm, you made the booking not me and when i staff told you that you made a booking in a dorm you went mad as hell nick

Crowded but cheap price
Stayed one night because of the unreal low price..less than $2 usd.very crowded dorms but they are pretty clean.only one fan in the room and they turn ac off from 10am-6pm.would only recommend if your budget is very low.

Clean and comfy, good for a few nights
We stayed for one night and it was good for that and the price was brilliant. It’s right in the centre of the lively area but up a side street so nice quiet. It was great for the price and the rooms were clean and had a private bathroom and small kitchenette area with water supplied. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had to change rooms though at about 2am because of the water pump making the most annoying noise in our room and waking us all up. Staff were helpful though and allowed us to move ourselves.

Our stay was fine overall. Great location. Walking distance to Patong Beach and nightlife. Staffs were helpful. Room condition and facilities were decent. The only downside was the WiFi, it was extremely weak, unable to detect and connect most of the time. But lucky we had unlimited Mobile data using a local sim card.

I stayed here 15 minutes and left, nice hostel Right across the street from the beach called Kokotel which was AMAZING. This place is way out of the way from everything and beyond disgusting. The building is falling apart, it’s down a strange alley that does not look safe and the smell!!!! It was gross!

Hotel close to beach, close to the main street
The owner and staff are fantastic, very helpful and supportive. Nick the owner is an encyclopedia of places to go to and places to see. Nick extremely friendly and down to earth. Very accommodating for the guests and their needs Would highly recommend this hotel.

I've stayed at many budget places in Patong....
This is by far, the absolute WORST. I booked a shared room, which showed a picture of a nice room with 2 beds, assuming I would be sharing it with one other, which is fine. When I arrived, The booking said Mixed Dormitory, shared with 18 other people, it consisted of 3 rooms filled with bunks to cram as many people in as possible. There are rules written everywhere, no lights on after a certain time, quiet hours etc, yet, the lights were switched on till 4am, even after I cracked it at the perpetrator, it kept happening. The hotel staff were exceptionally lazy and uncaring, and did not want to lift a finger to help me in any way. Yet the morning after this experience on my second day in, and they said I should have come down stairs to reception to tell them to do something about it. This was enough for me to check out on the spot and find another hotel, I had to basically call the last 13 days of my booking at this hotel a complete financial write off, as the hotel staff had the standard local attitude of the customer is always wrong. Despite the FALSE ADVERTISING of the room, they would not refund me even one cent. To top all that off, the location, whilst central, is just in a very awkward position, and is therefore more challenging to get in and out of. If you are booking this dump of a hotel, you will regret it. At no point has the hotel even apologized, so far it's been 3 weeks since I left disgruntled and not a word. No doubt they'll try and save face here though.

Deceiving hotel
This is a very old condominium close patong beach. The owner just converted some of the rooms to be a hotel or dormitory type. Other units are owned by different owners some other units are being rented out by the unit owner making safety a question inthe area. Hotels staff doesn't know how to speak English. Asking for assistance to get a tour package or what to do in the area is very difficult. Any assistance you need comes with a price although Thailand Currency is cheap as compared to US currency. They charge to call the tour operator to confirm pick up when they are late and even to call the shuttle for hotel to airport transfer.

I just read your message and you say my staff don’t talk English are you mad your in thailand not the USA thailand and I am English all my staff talk fantastic English, you booked a single bed in a dorm at the price of 90 baht per night, my telephone is not free for me to use so why would my staff let you call someone who you booked a bus with, my staff told me in English what you said to them and it was very rude, please don’t come back here because I will tell you in English to go away, nick

Worst hostel ever!! DO NOT STAY THERE!!!
The owner, Australian rude, mean old man, literally threatens to send you to jail for any suspicion! Staff watching you in the room 24/7. At 6 am wake you up with opening doors, windows, turning lights on etc. Beds like earthquakes, dirty, horrible atmosphere of military prison. DO NOT STAY THERE!!!

Firstly Im English not ozzy, so maybe youve got the wrong person here. Plus I've been told I look half my age, so hold off with the "old man" remarks please because you'll hurt my feelings. Maybe youre not familiar with how backpacker/dorm accommodation operates, but the majority of our guest actually appreciate that we have rules and staff available in the rooms. Many other places let guests go crazy and disturb other guests, we do not allow people to upset normal people that want to relax and get sleep while on holiday. Guests feel more secure with staff keeping an eye on everything. 6am is a ridiculous claim, 10am yes, but how else can we keep the room clean for you? Check out our other reviews and see. I've never been in a military prison, how are they?

budget hotel 10 mins beach 20 mins shop centre
room had wet floor to toilet from air conditioner drain behind door all the time, in front of basin shower wet floor and toilet , T V reception very poor , 3 English channels only air Conditioner motor outside window reall loud , hole in wall under sink 400 mm round out side noise there for 17 days went looking first day for other accommodation .. decided to stay, complained and they put towel around drain pipe did nothing ,, told owner after two weeks apologized offered us upgrade to dormitory with dryer Bath room still wet floor if had shower before used toilet ,, but worse noise had 2 motors from air conditioner outside on balcony next to bed room window every time they start wake up , bigger tv ,NO signal meant to have cable TV but they cant fix it , you have to wait till tune in TV every time you turn off or take key out of room 5 mins for tuning 100 stations 5 repeat stations if you dont start from 57 Tuning will go through them all again The wife was not happy but we decided to stay next time pay a little more for comfort ,, Had NO POOL ,, Has fridge sink cooking equipment low budget we had extra adult wife's friend from over seas ,, Next time rather stay in resort not a apartment was only because we paid for the 3 off us ..

The place was nice and great location but the kitchen and bathrooms were not clean. When the AC has off the windows would be close and the place stinck horrible. He had a shoe rack in front of out bed. There wasn’t enough space to hang up out clothes, neither for out personals. 2 power outlets for 3 people in the bunk bed wasn’t enough. The location has really good and maid and receptionist... even the guy in the kitchen very friendly.

Fantastic stay here at studio apartments, Nick was such a great guy and helped us out a ton with anything we needed and gave us very helpful advice! Amy was such a delight too and mothered over us two guys to make us feel right at home. Couldn't recommend this place more! Definitely worth a stay for such a good price too. Thanks guys!

Great hotel for the price
Good hotel and staff. Hotel is close to anything (restaurants, bars, beach, stores) in the town. Room/Bathroom was clean and has all utilities to use in the kitchen. It has must of what you need for a traveler (restaurant, tour, laundry, motorcycle rental, etc...). The staff (day and Night were supper nice to me) and take care of me fast. Clean service was great and fast. The hotel looks like It was am apartment and converted to a hotel, but If you look to others hotel they are the same. You can walk to the beach, above 10 to 15 minutes.

Close to everything
Is an apart hotel to share with others. The first night I got the single bed but I didn't like the bed stairs , to climb you shake all the bed and is kinda dangerous ( cause single beds are all up in the bunk beds and double bed are down ) So I got the double bed in the next day, is really comfortable and huge. The place is clean everyday , and keeps all day but depends of guests also. The stafs are nice ( beside the girl who comes in the morning to turn off air conditioning, always in bad mood , she used to come 10 min before 10 am , sit and Watch videos on her smartphone with high volume , even some people was still sleeping , with a unfriendly face ) but I learned quickly and everyday I woke up and left the apartment before she come . Beside that o had a good stay , at first I booked for 3 nights and I extend to more 4 nights Good place to make friends , close to everything and only 10 min from patong beach.

Great way to enjoy Patong
This place has everything you need to enjoy Patong. You can rent scooters, and it is really close to the beach and all the attractions in Patong. They even sell beer and have a laundry service. There is a nice lounge downstairs if you want to be sociable. They have really soft and comfortable mattresses, not just a mat on a metal frame. The suite had two bathrooms, so I was never waiting for one to open up. The staff is really helpful and keeps everything really clean.

Staff need to pay attention to some tenants
Stayed in hostel for 4 nights. Good located, close to everything. However, internet is very slow, and you cannot use the kitchen to cook, only microwave. Also, was very disappointed when some tenants had sex, broke many rules, were not quiet hotel management did not take any action. Perhaps they haven't noticed it happening as I did not report it. Overall, it's nice cozy hostel, met many good people there.

thank you for doing a review, why did you not come to the reception and tell some one about this happening in the dorm, and then we would of come to the rooms and kick them out of the dorm for breaking the rules, the kitchen have many things in them like microwaves and kettles and toasters and lots of cups pots and lots more, but we dont put cookers in the dorms, what do you want in the dorms for less then 250 baht per night, nick

Very rude Englishman on reception
I booked a studio double. The room was old with very old facilities. The bedsheets was dirty and was changed only after I informed about it. The bedsheets, towels were clean though very very old. Beach towels were worn out. It wasn't informed me that towels are changed once in two days. When I asked new towels, one Englishman at the reception declined the request very rudely. I understand that this is for backpackers but I wasn't staying in a dorm I had booked a studio double for 2 nights and 3 days. I was entitled to get fresh towels at least once but the request was declined very rudely. Will recommend this only to those who like to stay in dirt and not for usual travelers.

Another great stay
2nd time we stayed at these apartments. Yes the apartments do need a paint on the outside but the apartments are immuculate inside. Rooms cleaned everyday.have fridge/freezer and cooking facilities in room.beach towels also available daily free of charge. Nick the owner and all his staff are so helpful. They like a little family working together.They arrange trips and motor bike/car hire.location 10 minute walk to banglar road and 5 minutes to beach. Will be staying again next year.

was good room for long staying

The outside doesn't look good but room was cleaning and cleaning staffs were amazing!

Wonderful stay
Had a great stay. Staffs were very accommodating. Thus place is close to the beach. A lot of options for dining nearby. Free WiFi all throughout the place,

Short Walk to Patong Beach
Everything was fine expect they could make the shower head better. Why does it have to be so low, right in the corner and the water pressure was non-existent? Every time I had a shower, I had to crouch down a little bit and backed up right against the wall in the corner like a sad little dog. The pillows were very smelly. I had to cover with a towel and made a complaint through Expedia and that got fixed. They replaced the pillows, the cases and blanket as well
