When i get into my room there was no toilet paper, the safe didnt work and the shampoo/soap had clearly been used with the cap still left off and a soap dish full of water. When i went down to reception they were incredibly unhelpful, blamed housekeeping laughed in my face and took 10 minutes before they even offered me toilet paper. The staff were rude and unhelpful throughout my stay and the towels STUNK even when "fresh" ones were laid out each day. The restaurant downstairs played music obnoxiously loud till midnight every night, the food was not good at all, overall conpletely disappointed and would warn everyone to never ever stay here!

Horrible Hotel
It was not what seen in the picture given. My room air-con wasn't working, told the staff about and she came to see and adjust something and said after 10mins the air-con will come. Ask for a change of room but not available at that moment, didn't come to us about changing of room. Toilet was dirty and saw small cockroaches running around. Room was dusty and mosquito flying everywhere. The entire room together with the toilet was very smelly. I was not in the mood to take pictures.

One of the best hotel i have stayed at. Clean✔️ close to everything ✔️ friendly and helpful staff ✔️ 15 min walk to beach and from there 5 min walk to Patogon beach strip where all restaurants and bars are. you have 7/11 and family mart literally next door to the hotel. ThaiHappyTour is in the lobby and let me say if it wasnt for them and their professionalism we wouldnt have had such an amazing time. they turned the beds everyday, have mini fridge, ice cold AC. no soap or free toothbrush but its ok because bathrooms are extremely clean! Great NON Squealing Bed 😜 Breakfast isnt out of this world but it can fuel you until your next meal. It is so worth it if your lookinh for a quick 3-4 day hotel.

great hotel / restaurant!
hotel assisted with airport transfers. however, beware that they only operate at certain times. they start at 10:30 am...stinks if you have an early morning flight. a/c was super cold! you are provided with towels for the beach! we took towels on our day trip then got fresh ones for using at the beach later in the evening! very accommodating! the restaurant had a special menu that offered everything at 99 baht each (CHEAP!!). the food was delicious. live singer/band in the evenings. wifi didn't work well in our room. very frustrating. tour desk is located in the lobby. it is not the cheapest...shop around the town for better pricing.

For the price it was good but I got it at a very discounted rate. Good food in lobby restaurant.I had a few problems while staying here. I was on the 6th floor with a street facing room, very small balcony and traffic noise is constant. The lift, when summoned to the sixth floor would stop and the doors would fail to open (unless there was someone in it coming up), walk down the stairs to the 5th floor to get the lift almost everytime. The in house laundry service was not delivered on time (a day late) so if you need to do washing while there, go down to the side street and use the laundry service there. The room itself was ok, badly designed bath/shower with no curtain that leaves excess water on the bath surround and the floor making it slippery and dangerous, taps that are not secured properly and in the main room there was mould in the front corner on the ceiling and under the cornice which had peeled away from the ceiling. TV reception was poor. no pool.

Not so close to the beach
The room that i stayed in was quite nice and the staffs are very friendly but i was hoping to get more amenities in the room than just a couple of small bottles of soap and that's all there was. The food is terrible. If you love walking then I would recommend to stay at this hotel.

15 mins to Patong Beach. Well kept room.
Staff are friendly and helpful. We were there for 2 nights, clean room, nice old style bed and good city view on the highest floor. Hotel is 15 mins walk to Patong Beach. Only disadvantage is the elevator, the door did not open when it reached the ground floor. The next day, we were told the elevator is under maintenance till 5pm. The hotel have only one elevator so we need to our way downstairs. Overall, Tanawan is only 10mins walk to Jungceylon Shopping Mall, Banzaar and nearby shops. Location is great! I would still recommend to stay at Tanawan.

We were allowed to early check in. On the 2nd day of our stay our bath tub tap went wrong and we couldn't shower. Reported this and they had changed a room for us from deluxe to Super deluxe room. Thanks you Tanawan

Decent location with some minor issues
the first room that they gave us had a faulty air conditioner and a weird smell, so they changed another room for us. In the second room, some of the lights were faulty and we told the reception about it but nobody came and fixed it. Tv reception was also blurry. The pillow case was also dirty with shoe marks on it. It would also be nice to have bedroom slipper as the floor was pretty sticky to walk on. On the 3rd floor, the corridor light near the stairs was also faulty. Seems like maintainence is pretty poor in this hotel. However, the location is pretty decent, about 15 mins walk to the shopping centre and patong beach. There's also a good restaurant downstairs and a family mart next door. Staffs were nice as well and there was two bottles of complimentary water in the room.

From bad to worse.
The services are very bad. Especially the staff from the canteen, is very rude. We stay for 3 nights, everyday is terrible. This hotel not even qualified for 2 stars, and should not put in tourist hotel list, too. I will not go back there again, even they give out free rooms to stay.

You get what you pay for
This hotel is good for a cheap version of a budget holiday. Because it is new, the rooms are still in a relatively good condition, although the first signs of zero maintenance are already apparent. Big advantage is that the hotel is located just 10 min stroll away to the big shopping centre. But if you want to go to the beach you have to walk 30 min, or pay 200 baht for a taxi. Adjacent to it is a small FamilyMart, which is very convenient. But if you are a food or coffee connoisseur or expect something more than just a street view or facing the plain side wall of the neighbouring hotel, than this place is not going to live up to your expectations. If you speak mandarin you will get by with almost everyone, but 99% of the staff do not speak English. Actually the situation is the same with almost all other hotels in this neighborhood.

Good budget hotel.
Hotel is good for individuals, though it is a bit far from Bangla road which is the main place for nightlife. Rest all was ok and when you're in patong, beaches won't be too far from either hotel as you would anyways rent a scooter for local travel.

Well worth a stay
3 nights. nice hotel. Reasonable location. Breakfast not great. We upgraded to a better Room and was well worth the extra £10 a night. Didn't eat in the on site restaurant but local food stalls are great value for good food

HOTEL.COM must re rate this hotel. 1. Change the word 'Deluxe Room - Free One Way Airport Minibus Transfer" as hotel is saying that they only pick from airport and it is no where written at hotel.com website, free one way means either pick up or drop at airport. we were denied the drop at airport when asked. very bad experience of breakfast nothing for vegetarian. be careful if you are choosing this hotel.

We can not call it value for money. Their presentation differ from their policy. We book a superior room with one way Airport transfer by Mini van for 2 nights separately. We were expecting a departure transfer to Airport as we reached hotel from Krabi by road. When we asked this we were inform that they only pick up from Airport and we are already arrived hotel by own so this deal is over. I request Hotel. Com to re write there room as " Superior room with Airport pick up" so that another guest like me do not feel cheated. For vegetarian no breakfast accept fruits. When we requested them to prepare some vegetarian food for next day, we were denied. Price is les but you will pay more in local transport as it is far from beach.
