"This is a beautiful elegant hotel with an old world feel and quietly blended with all the modern amenities for today’s guests. There are several quiet nooks and patios scattered in the hotel that made me wish I had all the time in the world just to sit in each for a few hours. Everyone here is kind and thoughtful. We would definitely come back to Cusco and stay here again"

"The room was clean and well situated. Breakfast was very good quality and the staff was always pleasant and willing to help with any requests. Between my two stays (I was gone 4 days for the Inca Trail), the staff kept my luggage safe on their location and I found it waiting in my room when I returned. Everything was top notch. I was at Tierra Viva 14 years ago when I first went to Peru and it was my first choice returning this year. I do not regret that choice and would make it again in a heartbeat if I returned."
