This resort looks like it was nice at one point in time but has not been kept up. Things are dirty and not working. They tried putting us in a room that smelled so bad of cigarettes it made my eyes water. The hot tubs were brown. Pubic hair and other hair in my sheets and in the tub. Very dirty inside the room. It is located up the hill from the beach with traffic and no sidewalks so you must take a taxi down. Bed was very very hard. Only an antenna for tv so only local Thai channels that are very fuzzy. No nextflix option. We stayed in Thailand for 1 month, this was the worst hotel we stayed at.

We recently stayed at Wyndham resort as our choice was based on our previous experience in Australia. However the stay and experience was not pleasant enough. There are a few things to note here. 1. The resort is clearly on a downhill as a lot of amenities in the rooms we booked were not working. 2. The staff running the errands is not very helpful at times and rather rude. One can easily say there is a huge disconnect between the staff at reception and the staff doing the room service. A lot of times we asked for lights to be fixed so we could use the shower after a full day out but it wasn't addressed. 3. There was an incident which left us really questioning our safety. We had requested cutlery from the front desk so we could have our dinner however the cutlery never arrived. We made multiple trips to the front desk requesting for it and eventually we did receive it. However the person who delivered it tried to cause us harm. He came in his car, showed his angst and reacted to our requests. 4. We handed out some tip to the ground staff, however we mixed up some currencies and handed out more than we wished. Being nimble on cash for the trip, we requested the staff to recover it and we were happy to still pay a generous amount, however the staff avoided it. The resort is nice from a location point of view and the facilities however not adequately maintained. The incident that left us insecure and fearing results me asking for a refund for this unpleasurable experience.
