"Great view on Batur Lake. Good clean rooms in silent place. Normal breakfasts but still simple. The parking place is a little bit outside and need to go on staircases quiet long. Better not to go on big bike till the end (Nmax) because it's really hard to turn back and need to go with reverse way on breaks for long time). "

The biggest drawback is the lousy road full of potholes and only one lane leading up from the main road. "Jag var här en natt. Jag kom långt innan incheckning då jag hade varit på morning trekking på mount Batur. Det va ändå inga problem att få lämna väskan och hänga på deras stora terrass med fantastisk utsikt.
Deras personal är väldigt trevliga och hjälpsamma och jag fick även skjuts upp till ett café jag ville besöka.
Luften är lite svalare så man sover väldigt gott!
De hade väldigt god mat, bra service och det va rent och fräscht.

"Such a late review, considering that our trip was over a month ago, but finally getting to it makes me miss Vije so much! The hotel was such a dream! Firstly, the staff were so welcoming and we felt very much familiar in such a foreign place. We don't often feel that way in past places we've stayed at, but Vije was different. Every day, every single one of the staff we ever encountered were attentive and tended to our needs when necessary. Our room had the river valley view and it was beautiful! Because of this experience for our first time in Bali, we've decided we will be returning soon and bringing our close friends with us to experience the very friendly and authentic hardworking people and the beautiful island they call home. I do believe this is one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in! The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. So many details seemed to be taken care of each day. Our plan was to not leave the hotel, as we really just wanted to relax for a couple days. The area around the hotel is fine with a few shops but really, why leave the resort? Next time I am in Bali, we will stay longer!"
