Amazing property, so clean and hi-spec modern interior. The staff were excellent, so attentive and communicative. Was a joy to stay in and we will definitely be back and this will be our first choice to stay at.

This is by far the cleanest hotel that I’ve stayed. It is also huge that can comfortably stay for 2 2 people. It has a bedroom that has a king sized bed and a pull out queen or kind sized sofa bed that can sleep for another 2 people. Harder to find room that can sleep 4 not 3 people. The hotel also pre-stock the room with lots of amenities such as multiple shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, even shaving and dental kit. We also unfortunately left our slippers at our previous stop and luckily this hotel has disposable slippers as well! Yes, the price is a bit high compared to our other stays in Iceland, but given its amenities, cleanness and can sleep for people of 4, I think it’s well worth the extra price. Highly recommend it!

Very nicely equipped. Rooms were clean and kitchen had everything we needed. Staff was friendly. The location was fantastic. Around the corner from the bus stop for tours. Surrounded by a tone of food and shopping options. Short walk to main shopping area and Harpa Hall.

The apartment was spacious and perfectly maintained. The well-stocked kitchen made preparing and serving grocery-store purchased food easy. The fact that breakfast was available for purchase was a great convenience. The portions were generous and the food was well-prepared. The front desk was polite and accommodating. I appreciate that they loaned me a converter when I needed one. They always offered me coffee and answered any questions I had. I didn't love having to walk through the garage to get to the elevator to my apartment. That said, I am grateful that the area lit up when I entered it. If the property could put up more permanent directional signs on the garage walls as opposed to just having signs taped on the garage entry doors, I think guests would feel more comfortable.

The apartment was very spacious and was in a great location. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend staying here, the bakery next door was really good too.

Rented 2- one bedroom apartments for family trip. Great location, staff were amazing. Easy check in/out. Close walk to all the downtown tourist attractions, bars, and restaurants. 10/10 highly recommended and would stay again.

We loved our apartment, it was comfortable and spacious, with all the facilities one could desire. We particularly enjoyed the balcony and the thick bathmat. We were warmly welcomed and shown to our apartment with instructions re the intricate lights system. The location was excellent, close to harbour, restaurants, and many attractions

We loved the Black Pearl! The staff was amazing - so polite, friendly, and helpful. The rooms were very spacious and the entire area was very quiet. Breakfast was delicious and we had food for days! We visited in Feb and would return in a heartbeat if we could. Thank you Black Pearl!

This property absolutely exceeded every expectation. Our rooms were large, clean, and well appointed. The location would not possibly have been better, only a few blocks from major sites, restaurants and shops, but off the beaten trail enough to be quiet. There were many extra touches that we appreciated--a full kitchen (with the water for the coffee maker filled each morning), and a generosity of spirit from the staff that made this an exceptional stay.

Black Pearl combines the benefits of a luxury hotel with the freedom of a modern well equipped apartment in the centre of town. The property is spotless. The staff are extra helpful and the kitchen is equipped with everything you will need. The mini bar/fridge contained more stock than i have ever seen and very reasonably priced. I could not recommend Black Pearl highly enough. We will be back in Reykjavik and will definately stay there.

Perfect place to settle in Iceland.

An absolute beautiful and modern facility in a perfect spot for getting around. The rooms are immaculate, and you can walk to bars restaurants and shopping. Most of the tours pick up right across the street. The staff was amazing. Cannot recommend this place more

The location is a great spot! It’s about a 15 minute walk from the church and rainbow road. There’s a variety of places to eat literally right next door or across the building with great variety. They offer parking in a garage which was what I chose instead of trying to find parking on the street. I was able to check in early as well. Very grateful for that because our flight landed very early and we were exhausted after our first tour. They have breakfast you can order brought right to the door which was fantastic after the first day since we felt a little lazy. Highly recommend. Very spacious, close to the city, parking available, and so on.

Great stay
Great apartment in perfect location. Reception team super helpful with ordering us taxis, leaving luggage etc and even checked in early as room ready which was bonus. Would highly recommend!

Wonderful Stay - Black Pearl!
Wonderful place to stay! My husband and I went on our Anniversary trip and the apartment is spacious, comfortable, clean, and has a wonderful staff. The staff goes above and beyond to make your trip easy and comfortable and communicates very quickly on any questions before you arrive. The bed is comfortable, nice bathroom, kitchen (to cook food), and outdoor area. Also, the location is right by bus stop #4 - which is very convenient. I would definitely stay here again!

No soundproof
Think about everything except the soundproof. In the bedroom, you could hear the conversations of people walking down the street and big noise moving cars. From early in the morning, you could clearly hear how the stuff were cleaning and vacuuming the rooms.

We spent a week here, weather was a bit rubbish but apartment was cosy, modern and spotless. Breakfast could be considered pretty steep but was amazing and so much food. Great location for exploring by foot and reception staff very helpful and friendly. Loads of nice places to eat and a big supermarket 10 min walk away as there is a small but fully fitted kitchen. Would definitely stay again.
