"The buffet food quality is terrible and the dinner reservation process is a nightmare. After standing in a line for over an hour at 7am we managed to get one dinner reservation at 5.30pm during our whole 5 day trip. Its a shocking decision from the hotel to do things this way and leaves everyone very angry. Even the staff think its a joke. The hotel itself is lovely and a 5 minute walk to Xcaret. Also the Michael Jackson show that was on was fantastic. So if you can accept terrible food and an angry reservation process in favour of location then this is the place for you. I would recommend finding a hotel with much better food reviews and take a taxi to the parks."

"The pools are great and the family select pool and area was amazing the staff was so friendly to our son. Rooms were updated and very clean and again the staff is just amazing. "

"Either we got lucky or it was truly an amazing trip for our family. The weather was perfect, all the amenities the hotel provided were great. Lots to do w kids. Restaurants were great as well. If anything I would critique the buffets. Could use a bit of flavor and change in menu. They had lots of choices but after the 3rd day eating the same menu got boring. Staff and room was clean and very comfortable for our family of 5, we stayed in the junior suite"

"Everythignnwas great! Be aware that the beach thugh is swimable and water was warm on the last couple of days there was quite of bot of seaweed. Though the staff was trying really hard to keep cleaning it up. Food was good. One thing I was diappointed was pizza and coffee. I am not sure how pizza;s were never done. They were baked on top and pretty raw at the bottom. Thank God for the capucinno and expresso at the bar that made up for the coffee. Overall very happy with this respor definitely will go back."
