I had an overnight layover - took train RER B from CDG to Chatelet Les Halles (massive station, once you are able to exit to street level, easy to navigate to the hotel by Google Maps) - check in was smooth, room was perfect for a solo traveller, with all the amenities . My special moment was the quick walk to Louvre before sunrise, and take in the quietness of the square and don’t forget to wait for the perfect sunrise over Seine. Proximity was perfect!"
