"We stayed for 5 nights, with 4 kids, 6, 8 10, 17, and we had a great time. You can't swim in the beach. In fact, Someone almost died while we were dipping our feet in. Security guard allows feet to dip, but blows his whistle when you submerge. The person that almost died didn't follow the rules and swam out, the tide took her in and emergency life guards were alerted. They saved her and she was fine. We ubered 10 mins to La Playa El Chileno and we swam there. Rented umbrellas, chairs at the beach. No bars or restaurants near El Chileno so we stopped at Oaxaco for a $4 cooler, free ice, and bought beer. Overall, great experience. Wonderful staff, clean rooms, comfortable pillows and beds."

"We had the swim up room and it was absolutely WONDERFUL! My husband and I traveled without any kids so it was nice to have the swim up room facing the adult pool. The variety of food options was great…restaurant, outside barefoot grill, 24-hour room service. Great nightly entertainment for adults (live band) and children (current movies on an outside screen). Only downside is that you cannot swim at the beach at the hotel because it is too dangerous. Watching the waves day and night was extremely peaceful though. Other public beaches (Chileno Bay and Playa de Santa Maria) are available nearby (about 8-10 mins away)…catch an Uber (super cheap!)."

"Service was incredible, facility and rooms were great, pool was perfect, large and never felt quiet. Entertainment at the pool and during the evening was less than average. Breakfast buffet was delicious with a good variety, coffee de la oya made me a coffee drinker. Dinners were hit and miss. Cielo, the Mexican restaurant was awesome and the waiter, Eduardo, made the dinner an experience. All other restaurants were average."
