"Nice hotel with a great location in the Grand Canal right at Rialto Bridge in the center of everything in Venice, well kept building friendly staff, also very helpful staff, breakfast included is very good, only thing could be if you don't like crowded areas probably not a place for you, even though crowd are only outside the actual premises, once you enter the hotel it is very silent actually, we went there my wife and I so we don't care about a crowded street outside, we definitely be back at this hotel soon"

"Pensione Guerrato's proximity to the Grand Canal and Rialto Bridge makes it an ideal home base for excursions, but still in a neighborhood that is peaceful and quiet. The Gelato place around the corner (Venchi) has the best Gelato I found in Italy (they coat the waffle cones with chocolate of your choice), and the capuccino at Guerrato itself was excellent. We had to rise early one morning at 5:30 am, before their sumptuous breakfast was served, and the staff was invaluable both in securing a water taxi, and giving us coffee while we waited. Really, it was the perfect spot for our visit to Venice."
