Staff are very nice and friendly. Hotel is quiet and safe. Liked the buffet breakfast they change some entree daily . If i will go back to Bali will definitely book this hotel again.

We had 3x rooms. Very noisy. All 3x rooms smelt mouldy inside. Staff were not well spoken in English. We were sick for a short time & to think they wanted to charge us an additional $2 for an ice bucket !

Very average, not worth the price I paid
This hotel was very average. For the price I don’t think it’s worth it. Nothing Special, not the best location, it said it had a free beach shuttle, but there wasn’t, the pool has only 2 chairs, the pillows were gigantic and made my neck very sore. Breakfast and staff were great, but aside from that I would give it a 6/10.

The staff was nice and ready to help. Great location to visit Bali and awsome breakfast! The building needs some renovation on the outside/gym area. Rooms instead are well kept, and I have also received a piece of cake on my bday. Everyone was really nice!

Wonderful service but the hotel is tired
We stayed at the Santika Hotel for 1 night on 6 January. The room was large, airy and clean at first glance however we noticed some ants on the dresser, it turned out that some crumbs that were left by the previous occupants hadn't been seen by the cleaning crew. We wiped these ourselves as we travel with antibacterial wipes. Breakfast was a buffet with variety: traditional Indonesian breakfast and western foods were on display. We wanted to try the traditional foods and found Ami, our breakfast host to be very helpful. The service overall is excellent and apart from the crumbs our room was spotless. One thing I noticed is that the floor had been mopped, I do not believe this happens everywhere, most hotels seem to sweep the rooms but not mop the floors. The hotel does look tired and could do with painting in places to restore it to it's former glory.

Stars: 3/5 Located on a busy road. The lobby is beautiful and smells good. The service is very good. People are always smiling and very welcoming. The rooms themselves are small. Bathroom is small. No need to get a balcony room because view is off empty lot and old homes. Food is good. Mix drinks not good. Just get a beer and call it a day. For the price you pay it was good. I am not picky so it fit me well as I was out of my room and away from hotel basically all day except to sleep.

This hotel gets a solid no from me. Its not that bad, it's just boring. Pros Huge bed (But don't bother with the "balcony" rooms, pics are deceiving, the balcony is non existent) Clean basic shower Buffet breakfast options aren't bad Cons Far from EVERYTHING Pool isn't that great.. Gym is ridiculous Balcony room, really? That's a joke Hotel pics are plain deceiving. Not a fan of Santika.. I wouldn't recommend it or come back to stay either. Far more hotels out there..

Nice hotel located on a busy road. 10 mins walk from shops and restaurants. Friendly staff at the reception and restaurant. Always happy to help. Very nice rooftop pool and restaurant. Maybe breakfast needs improvement with better pastry and Daily offer. Great room, big bed. Great WiFi. The free shower soap comes only in a small tube and when you are 2 it’s not enough. I needed to ask the reception for more. Same as the toilet paper. A good tip is to have a scooter to move around or use Grab app. Cheaper that the taxis. Otherwise it was a great stay.

Roofdeck pool is nice and packed with loud Chinese guests. Staff aren't that friendly, front desk are sticking their faces on their computer so don't be sad if nobody greets you lol. Front desk staff just stares at you when you asked something, I would say they dont understand the universal language. Room is dark, not well lit. Not that clean. Staff in the resto are nosy and won't let you finish your food, took your plates right away. Breakfast suck since this hotel caters the taste of Chinese guests which infact most of the hotel guests are Chinese. Rude and loud Chinese guests at the pool area, dining and lobby.

Hotel Santika Seminyak is a simple, minimalist hotel with a touch of Indonesia vintage style. The staff are excellent and try their best to accommodate our requests, as we all know it is Bali, and it's well known with their superb customer service. The breakfast in the Restaurant has lots of varieties. My group and I were satisfied with traditional food choices they provided daily. We didn't even go into western food section at all which contain lots of variety as well. I love how the Staff at the restaurant display a great teamwork attitude, very polite and a very welcoming smile all the time. Keep up the good work guys!! And in terms of location, it is a perfect place to stay away from the hustle bustle of Kuta Legian and if you don't mind not being so close to the beach than this place would be an ideal place to stay. The guest service will be more than willing to assist should you need transport to access different areas. The swimming pool is best to visit around 7 - 10 am and after 4 PM. In between those times, it would not be suitable unless if you don't mind with the sun heat. I don't think it will be necessary to mention little minor issues because, for 3 and a half star level hotel, Santika did and delivered excellent service. Overall, my group and I had a charming, enjoyable and pleasant stay in Santika Seminyak hotel.

Nice hotel, good location, breakfast had lots of options even catered for Westerners. Room was a tad small & shower facility was left to be desired. cleaners only seemed to change bed, never gave toilet paper or took out bins etc. Staff were friendly.

As a westerner and travel the world think it would be a good idea to have milk & hot water near the tea and coffee instead of having to ask staff for hot water every time. Why not put some umbrellas up each day by the pool as no one wants to get burnt which can cause skin cancer

Having stayed in other Santika hotels, I wanted to experience this one in quiet Seminyak. I enjoyed my stay and the meals were acceptable too. The staffs were friendly and eager to interact. Seminyak beach is close by, and there were eating places around. The hotel's airport pick-up bookings, however, need to be corrected to accept all email domains.

Stayed for 6 nights in July. Room was cheap, clean and good quality bedding etc. we thought we would have a balcony but door opened to unfinished area. Staff were very helpful and ready to assist. The position is on a very busy road but walking distance to the beach and shops. Breakfast was not to everyone’s taste but could get eggs cooked while you wait. Overall very good value for money though.

Great value for money
For the price, this hotel is spot on and also includes free buffet breakfast and WIFI. If you are happy to walk about 50 metres to the lights to cross over one busy road and then take a relatively short walk to Jl. Semanyak (or very cheap taxi ride of less than $2 AUD), this place is great. Friendly staff and nice made up room each day. I would only recommend that for breakfast time, they employ someone on the egg cooking station that can cook more than 1 egg at a time to avoid waiting in queues. Otherwise there are other options in the buffet, but generally not a western menu. All in all, we were pretty happy.

Nice hotel, location Horrid!
All hotel facilities and staff were great. The hotel restaurant was very dissapointing paticularly at breakfast time, only asian food is available, the cornflakes are inedible (chewy) and the milk always tepid. Fried eggs or basic omelette is the only western breakfast dish available (got sick of eating eggs for breakfast). Did not look forward to breakfast, this was a sad state of affairs as the included breakfast was the main reason that i booked this hotel. Also the hotel location is very undesirable and dirty, open sewers flowing allongside roads and, when walking, nothing to see but factories/workshops. When booking this hotel, i was aware that the location was far from anything worth seeing so the other main reason that i booked here, was fact that the hotel provides a free shuttle bus service to Seminyak shops and beach. I was shocked to find that the service provided was very inconvenient, is only outbound at 11:00 & 15:00, (will not return guests back to the hotel). Lastly - BEACH LOVERS BE WARNED, sewerage outflows exist every few hundred meters along the Seminyak/Kuta coast, if beach swimming is a must for you, then book elsewhere (Nusa Dua).

Convenient location
We stayed there 10 days. Reception staff was bit rude but restaurant and spa staff are really good. offered to help anytime. Food was good but not many variety. some menu items were always not available. on main highway convenient to access any where either by walk or vehicle. Internet was good. laundry prompt service. But staff lack knowledge of English was hard to communicate.

Clean & Good price
This hotel is on sunset road near smenyak. The price is good, one night 30USD, and the room+hotel is very clean. If you spend most of the time surfing or doing activities outside of the hotel, this hotel is more than enough for your stay. There aren't any restaurants or bars near this hotel(5-10min scooter ride to busy streets in smeyak) so If you are staying in this hotel, you may want to rent a scooter/bike so that you can move around the island.

10 minutes walk from Seminyak Square
The staff is super friendly and helpful. We've hired a driver for a day, rent a bike for couple days and they organised airport transfer with reasonable price. The location is off touristy area, nice and quiet. Only 10-15 minutes walk from Seminyak square and the beaches. Highly recommended!

This hotel stay in Seminyak was a complete surprise as far as quality and service. I wasn't sure what to expect but upon my 1:30 AM arrival I was picked up at the airport easily by hotel transportation. Ad a solo female traveler I felt completely safe. The entire staff was totally friendly and accommodating. The restaurant had good food, the included breakfast buffet was huge with a great roof top view of Seminyak in the morning. The hotel itself is very clean with crisp white walls. I would definitely stay again.

Although not much around the hotel they provide a free shuttle bus to the beach and the main bar/restaurant area, however taxis are cheap enough to go by yourself. If you want to chill by the pool for the whole holiday probably not for you as pool area is small but we relaxed there a few days.

Definitely stay again
Hotel clean, bed very comfy, staff amazing, brilliant food and pool fabulous. Downside was no shade by pool so busy in evenings, lovely during the day. Hotel on busy road so hard to walk as first job was to cross road! Overall a great place to stay for the price.
