Thank you, Claire Ferning for your review. The fact that you wrote it as “anonymous” sort of indicates you were a bit disgruntled and unhappy. Your personal attack on me and naming me was very unfair, vicious, and totally untrue.It needs to be noted (especially for persons who might read this review): 1.I do like Americans, and I don’t know what caused you to make a comment like that. I am totally insulted by that remark.2.The guests above you were young (and terrific guests too). I very kindly left a note under their door to let them know you had travelled from the US and needed to rest up, so, if possible, could they be a little quiet when they returned late from clubbing. They were so polite about it the next morning and extremely accommodating to assist you. (Are we being a little pedantic here?).3.Your comment about your partner not fitting through the doors was correct, however I said he might have trouble fitting through the narrow Balinese doors (not European). (Sense of humor ???)4.Your negativity and bad energy on your arrival was not easy, and to brighten you up with a welcome drink and a short chat about how everything operated is only part of my job. I did make it clear I was aware or how tired you may have been.5. The conversation with your partner was always pleasant and I did take time to stop and chat when I passed. He was extremely positive and happy. I do not remember any negativity at all. (You never attempted to even lift your head or acknowledge me). Also, I never had a problem with what you were doing, and certainly never pre-judged. It is not my business to do that, and I and my staff always like to make sure our guest have privacy. (I just can’t work that out!).6.The Accommodation you chose was clearly explained on your Confirmation email message. Numerous replies by you indicated you were reading them incorrectly. Especially with regards to Confirmation.
