Located at Lovina (North Bali), it is definitely not as accessible as areas in South Bali but it wasn't that bad & it did not affect our holiday plan at all. You will need a transport to travel around though.
I didn't notice any eateries or fast food restaurants nearby, just a convenient store & a few small shops selling household goods.
We love the peacefulness & how it's very laid-back here... Sit by the pool or the beach to catch the sunrise & sunset. The scenic all over is just...

It's a very calm resort remotely located in a hilly village area of Lovina with a beautiful sea view and sunset point.. This is an ideal location for someone looking for calm and private place for retreat.. The staff's hospitality was amazing.

Puri Dajuma is a beautiful place. The gardens are particularly stunning. All rooms are steps from the beach, which stretches for miles in both directions. Besides local fisherman and a few others and the other tourists from the resort, you won’t see many other people. It’s the ultimate getaway in Bali, for the time being until it gets more popular. For now, it’s the opposite of busy Canggu! We loved how quiet it was.
As for the resort, they take great care to make your stay as comfortable...

Fantastic property right on the surf beach. Very comfortable rooms and the staff were super friendly. My only wish is that the food portions were a bit bigger, surfers get hungry.

We loved our stay at Villa Lata Lama Joglo and highly recommend it! It really has to be seen to be appreciated, as the photos don't do it justice. The joglo has been refurbished and outfitted beautifully but is still very livable. Lots of different spaces to hang out, fantastic pool that gets plenty of sun, and very kind & helpful staff (hello to Ketut and Seger!). Some "good to know" tips: 1) the Joglo is quite hard to find so we strongly recommend arranging airport transport through the villa;...
