"It is very hard to fault this hotel because they have done almost everything right. The rooms facing the sea have a magnificent view, which puts a smile on your face every morning. Plus it is connected to the AEON shopping centre right next to it so it's very convenient especially if you feel like doing some late night shopping or last minute supply replenishment. That said, there are two things that I am not happy about: 1. There are no power outlets or USB ports at the bedside table to charge your phone. 2. One of the light switches is actually linked to the wall power outlet, to which the floor lamp is plugged in. That means whenever I switch off the lights on that side of the room it would also switch off whatever is plugged into that power outlet e.g. laptop / tablet / camera / power bank etc. If these are no big deal to you, then you should really check it out."

"The hotel was in a very convenient location and our room had a lovely view of the canal. The bed was comfy and it was quiet at night making it perfect for sleeping. The staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful and gave us a great recommendation for dinner. The apple juice and coffee in the lobby were nice extras."

"Staff was amazing and kind. Food was pretty good and service was top notch. Decent amount of activities to be non ski season. I did wish for more nature. There were no trails to walk that were next to the hotel."

"Due to my schedule, I could only stay for a single day, but it was the kind of hotel where I would have loved to stay longer if I had the time. The comfortable bed, the accommodation itself, and the delicious meals were all excellent."

"Very convenient location close to the train station. Clean and modern facilities with public baths and bar. Fantastic breakfast with a choice of Japanese set breakfast or western style breakfast buffet. Highly recommend for those looking to stay in Otaru in comfort."
