Yatsusankan is located in Hidi Furukawa, a small quaint town about 30 min by local train to the north of Takayama. The town itself can be toured on foot in a couple of hours. The ryokan has a new and old wing. Guests can walk about in yukata within the ryokan and use the public onsens. There is also a private onsen at a small fee. The rooms are spacious and clean.
