Misleading on distance to hotel from train /bus station. They said a 10 minute walk but had to take a taxi that cost $30.00 one way. It was a couple miles away. Spent over $100. on taxi service while there. Hotel was more of a hunting lodge with no less than 15 stuffed animals and birds in the lobby and dining area. Very nice carpentry work throughout. Nice views.

Thanks for your feedback. We will use your wishes in the reconstruction of the hotel, which will be at the end of the year. Regarding towels. In 3 star hotels they do not change towels, every day, you were only two nights in the hotel. You made a request for a replacement and the maid changed those towels that were on the floor and wet. If you want to change the towels, they must be thrown on the bathroom floor.

Very old bed sheets, poor breakfast, rooms are dirty , only one person he was doing every thing , i mean first he was serving for breakfast and later he does the rooms arranging , and the same person he was at the réception and he was rude ☹️,, not arranging the beds, not cleaning the room and toilet and not re filling the toiletries

Property is is definitely not a three star property as advertised. There are a number of facilities listed here but are not there. For e.g. there is no room service, no laundry service, the restaurant only serves breakfast, no hot water in the evening, room heater didn’t work in our room, you have to ask for the basic things and it depends upon the owner/manager to decide whether to provide or not. I booked this place thinking I would have a relaxed 3 days with family but was very disappointed to be honest. Then I looked at some of the google reviews of the property and noticed I wasn’t alone. Definitely not the price they charge you for. The property is nice and on the bank of a beautiful lake so that was the only positive.

The property is located in a beautiful place with easy access to the lake and has ample parking. However, the room was dusty and there were hairs on the bathroom wall. The room was spacious but very old fashioned and needed some TLC. The stuffed dead animals in the main area weren’t to my liking though!

The view around this hotel is very good. However, due to its remote location, transportation is not good. There are no restaurants or other places to eat. Breakfast starts at 8:00 am, so if you go sightseeing early, you can't use it at all. Also, there are hardly any staff at the hotel reception, so you cannot enter the hotel before 3pm.

The only good thing was the location.. everything else wasn’t great. Not clean at all, I had to use one of my clothes to cover my pillow, what I paid shouldn’t be for that. Breakfast was okay! He also charged me for the tax even tho I paid for the whole package. I don’t recommend this place to anyone.

We had a great stay at the Seehotel Jaegerhof Hubertus! My wife and I went for a minibreak on her birthday weekend. We misread the booking and didn't see that the reception is not open from 18.00CET on, but they waited for us and even brought a glass of wine for us for her birthday. Breakfast was excellent, local cheeses, fresh bread and meats, all covered nicely to keep away any flies or sneezes! The view is unbeatable, its so nice! The rooms we clean and the beds were super comfortable. The only thing we wanted for was mini-fridge in the room, and an ice machine somewhere in the hotel, but most places in switzerland don't have this standardly. Two thumbs up!

Terrible experience
Hotel has good location but bad experience with manager ruined my stay. I needed a working wifi but had zero or extremely poor connection in my room. Manager behaved as if it were my fault. Besides, hotel was hugely overpriced.

It was nice and quiet near a lake away from all the souvenir shops but close enough to take a short train ride to the capital city of Berg, Thun or Interlaken. The breakfast was delicious and it was so pleasant to sit on our balcony lakeside and enjoy the view.

It is a lake view property which is beautiful outside... Inside it is just ok ... more of a 2 star hotel... very isolated property... good if u want to be close to lake and do water activities but very far if u r there to see Jungfraujoch or Interlaken etc..

Great location. We were able to swim in the lake after a long afternoon of touring Interlaken. Within walking distance of boat to Interlaken. Great breakfast spot overlooking the lake.

The only highlight about this place is it’s location. Other than that very ordinary hotel run by only one person who is the owner/ front desk guy/ concierge service and a bell boy. Rooms are small with bathroom exceedingly smaller. No air conditioner in the room and this summer was exceedingly hot. You will have to carry luggage through stairs as there is no help available. No telephones in the room so if you need something like iron you have to physically go downstairs and ask for it and then he tells you to bring back in 2 hours. Not a good experience.

The hotel is in a beautiful location and the staff are absolutely wonderful. Free on site parking and breakfast was a huge plus. The hotel is right across the street from a popular lake swimming area so you’ll never have to worry about finding parking to go there. Hotel staff were just amazing. During breakfast they take note of which rooms are eating and quickly tend to them while enjoying breakfast.

Terrible hotel
The staff is not friendly at all. Rooms are dirty, one of the pillow was stained. There is no noise insulation between rooms. The garden furniture are broken, cushions have wholes. Hotel located between the railways and the road.

Needs a renovation but still functional
We stayed at this hotel when the temperature was a hot, humid 31c and found the room too hot to sleep and too noisy to have windows open but when we asked for a fan and the manager supplied it we slept better. Staying at this place in colder weather would be more comfortable. The outside of the hotel is very nice and the view of the lake is beautiful. The room needs renovating. The style is still from the 1960s. Still the room is comfortable (except in hot weather) but has no safe or coffee making facilities. The TV is very small and room has no fridge. The Wifi was weak and kept cutting out often. Breakfast was ok but no hot food and there was plenty of car parking space. The staff was friendly and helpful. In hot weather and due to Wifi cutting out often I would not stay here again.

Disappointment and poorest amenities
The hotel is disappointing and doesn't worth the money paid. Everything is poor except the view. reception is closed at 6 pm on Friday!!!! Very bad pillows and towels. Shampoo and soap is in paper pockets and with bad quality. I can write more and more but I recommend people to find other hotels that provide minimum service for 3 stars hotel. Also, breakfast was limited and poor.

Gem of a hotel
This hotel was a little gem. It is close to the lake and has gorgeous lake views. Make sue to get a room with a lake view. We sat on the balcony and sipped wine while watching boats on the lake. The breakfast is great and wifi works well. Free parking. The best part of the stay was the staff. The hostess is friendly and helpful. This hotel was a highlight of our trip.
