Small room but convenient location
I chose the Sunshine City Prince hotel due to a recommendation from a friend. It was very affordable, which was also really good. I really liked that I was able to use the Airport Limousine Bus from Narita airport, as it made it super convenient to get from the airport to our hotel, especially with our luggage. Being connected to a large shopping centre was really nice, as the day we were arrived it was raining and we were super tired after a long flight, so we were able to walk around the shops and take it easy. Also, all the restaurants in the shopping centre made it easy to choose places to go for dinner. The hotel also had a small FamilyMart near the lobby, so nice and easy to get some quick snacks. In terms of public transport, the hotel is not too far from two train stations, so pretty easy to get around Tokyo. The room itself was small, but I had been warned that this is common in Japan. However, for my boyfriend who is quite tall the semi-double bed wasn’t that comfortable. The bathroom was also quite small, but again, quite normal for hotels in Japan. Overall the staff were very kind and allowed us to store our luggage before we were able to check in and for a while after we checked out.
