  • Q Square mall-- not exactly a tourist destination (there are many malls in Taipei) but it's a nice mall located close to Taipei Main station (Metro/MRT) if you're looking to escape the heat. Huge food courts here too with lots of options (and obviously shopping). This mall also has a movie theatre, which shows mostly American movies (but cheaper). It's also about a 10-15 walk to the historic Dihua street, one of the oldest areas of the city which was once the main market area (still lots of interesting shops there that cater to the local...good photo opps too with some older buildings)

It's basic - if you want 5 star comfort and surroundings, then you will have to book somewhere else and pay a lot more money! This is a budget hotel with all amenities, very helpful staff and in a great location. Recommended.

Very convenient location, just a short walk from the Main Station. The hotel room is very basic, but it was a very inexpensively priced option. The property is somewhat worn and shabby but my actual room was clean and fine. The staff were very friendly and helpful, they allowed me to store my bags until checkin time as I arrived in the very early morning. I would stay here again.

A very good 6-day stay

The room is clean and has a modern touch. Also happy with 24/7 hot water. The location of the hotel is superior: unlimited Taiwan eateries nearby; next to metro and high speed train stations. The easy access of a high speed train station is a must if you are going to visit other cities like Taichung and Kaohsiung in one day.

Friendly helpful staff. Lots of extras.. toothbrushes, disposable slippers, Carmel corn. Bread, toaster, peanut butter, jam, teas, coffees, water dispenser more. Even free laundry soap. My only issue is the shower curtain has lots of mold along the bottom amd sides. And stains that look like dried blood.

The staff are warm, professional, and incredibly helpful. The room was spotless and well-equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay, including reliable Wi-Fi and thoughtful amenities. They even provided disposable towels, toast, coffee, tea and a water dispenser. The location is perfect — central yet peaceful — making it easy to explore the city. Plenty of dining options surrounding the hotel. I would gladly stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

This is a perfect hotel for a solo traveler for one or two nights. I stayed in transit to another city and found it to be very comfortable and conveniently located near the train station.

The hotel is at a prime location. It's very near the main station and Airport MRT which I loved about it. It's also right next to a 24/7 Mcdonald's so it's great when you need a late night snack or can't find anything to eat after a long day. Check-in and check-out process was very smooth. Despite the average room and amenities, what I really appreciated was that they allowed me to check-in two hours early and I got to rest in my room before I went out.
