Better than I expected! The suite room with a view of 101 Tower is new, spacious and well designed. Walkable distance to 101 Tower and some local small restaurants and coffee shops. I tried 2 small restaurants behind the hotel as well as the 2/F hotel restaurant, they are all great! I will recommend this place to people who would like to find somewhere middle of the road - not too expensive; not too cheap.

New hotel with very comfortable room. Room has great interior design and luxurious, with big frig and microwave. Hotel has very nice gym space which we enjoy everyday. The Shanghai restaurant here is great with competive pricing. The same dish we ordered here taste better and cheaper than other similar restaurants around here. We had enjoyed this hotel and plan to come back in the future.

The closest station is Taipei City hall station. 5 mins,walk to hotel . Pros: very good service, big room , clean and spacious, free flow drinks from 7-9pm doily, location opposit a mall . Cons: abit far ( ard 7-8 stops) from prime area Ximending.

Great hotel with wonderful views of Taipei 101
It was a brand new hotel so hiccups are to be expected. But we were pleasantly surprised by the excellent service, location and design. We also loved their gym! We had an excellent view of Taipei 101 and the new year fireworks, for a very reasonable price. Things to improve on: 1. Breakfast selection was so-so. Taste was also so-so. Would recommend Grand Hyatt for breakfast just across the road. 2. No adult channels on TV (for the wife)
