It’s a good place to stay, no thrill, basic hotel. There are some restaurants nearby. It’s probably better to stay on the other side of the Taipei station.

Everything was nice except there was always smell of cigarettes smoke in the room, sometimes not so bad but most times hard to bear (I may be sensitive to cigarettes smoke), and there was no soundproofing at all so I had trouble falling asleep at night. But all in all, I was satisfied with the hotel.

Great location near many restaurants and stores. Easy check in, staff English speaking and helpful. Taipei train to airport is at nearby end of Taipei main train station, but local metro is on the far end of the station. Room was clean, modern, bed very comfortable. Nice view.
