  • Last night we went to a Taoist Temple in Taipei. You can see in the close up picture of people praying how they receive and answer immediately from the prayers. After kneeling and bowing, you throw two "stones" onto the floor. They are both crescent shaped with a sun and a moon side. If they end up both on one side, the answer is NO. If they end up both on the other side, the answer is maybe, or not enough information. If the end up like a ying and a yang, then the answer is YES. I took a moment to pray, asked my question and got a ying and a yang out of the throw. The belief is, that the result comes from within your own heart.

It's close to two stations, has two lines, and is conveniently located for sightseeing. The room was clean and the bath had plenty of hot water. There was a convenience store and a night market nearby, so it was convenient for daily life.

Excellent location. If you're a first timer in Taipei you can trust my words - very central, well-connected and in a nice area of the city as well (Zhongshan). The rooms have a kind of antique charm but they're well taken care of. Soundproof (very important in a bustling city such as Taipei) and with blackout curtains. The staff was very nice and helpful. The only thing that was a "no no" for me was the laundry room. You can use if self-service but the logistics of it are terrible, as you have to wait for it to be clear from other guests using it, with every one of them granted up to 3h doing their laundry, and then the machines are very difficult to operate if you're a foreigner and/or not acquainted with those types of machines. Regardless of this, I had a very good stay.

客室は、ベッドは清潔でした。 細かく言うと、洗面所やお風呂掃除が行き届いてません。 シャワーカーテンからは生乾きの匂いがします。部屋にあったアルコール除菌スプレーを毎回掛けてシャワー使用後はカーテンを広げて対処していました。湿度が多い国なのでしょうがないと思います。 あと、ティッシュの匂いが気になり、使えませんでした。 台湾の一般的なティッシュの匂いなのか、湿度で臭くなっていたのか分かりませんが、持参したポケットティッシュで凌ぎました。 もう一つ、バスタオルやタオルはほつれとかがある位使い古しの感じがしました。 値段的にこのレベルなのかもしれませんが、、。 フロントの方は全員日本語が通じるので、それはとても助かりました。

初めて台湾に行きましたが、やはり日本語が通じるので安心感がありました。フロントの方はどなたも丁寧な応対でした。また、掃除のスタッフの方がとても感じが良く、毎日明るい笑顔に癒され、会うのが楽しみになる程でした。ホテルは日本のビジネスホテルと同じと思ってください。アメニティは台湾のエコの観点から用意はありませんが、水は毎日2本用意されており、部屋も鏡前の椅子以外にテーブルとソファがあったので、食事をする際にもゆったりできました。洗濯機も時間制限はありますがフロントに申し出て鍵を借り、無料で使用することができます！次回は台湾ならではのホテルにも興味があるので、私はそちらを選ぶかもしれませんが、言葉が通じないことに不安を感じる方はサンルートは本当におすすめです！

清潔な部屋でした。スタッフの対応も、とても良い。日本語が、普通に通じて安心しました。立地も良いと思います。桃園国際空港まで、お迎えに来てくれた運転手さんは、入国審査が大混雑していたにも関わらず、予定から1時間以上も待ってくれていました。感動しました。ありがとうございます。
