Great hotel! It was such a unique style and design scheme. Loved how spacious the room was and bathroom was great as well. They had free snacks for the guests to grab as much as they want. Overall just a really cool hotel! Would definitely stay here again. Staff was super nice as well!
The room quality was mediocre. I paid the most for this hotel during my trip but, I don't see the quality in the room and the rooms were not very sound proof.
There was no breakfast, but the cleanliness was good and the location was good.
I wouldn't go back to this hotel next time.
Staff helpful and friendly.
Room cleaned without fail everyday. Unless requested not to.
Good design. From coat hangar, shelving, room lighting/shadows.
The bunk beds are comfortable, the room was a bit tight for 4 adults but it had everything we needed. Room was clean and bathroom and toilet are both clean and ample space.
Location is good, within walking distance to the mrt station and Huashan Creative Park. Service staff is attentive and helpful. If I really have to deduct marks it'll be the slight lack of variety in breakfast selections. Otherwise I'm giving thumbs up for the hotel.
Hotel workers were very nice and friendly to us, no matter we have questions about transportation or other assistance.
Very close to MRT station and full of convenient stores, bank, cafe and breakfast restaurants around the hotel.
Delightful stay.
Everything was great, walking distance and really close to Zhongxiao Xinsheng MRT. Lots of food places around as well as 7 eleven and Family Mart if you need a drink or a snack. Everybody was friendly and made our stay memorable.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Great location. Friendly staff. Lackluster breakfast. And room heater pretty much useless; not comfortable when visiting in cooler months.
Elite triple room is small. Windows are high up, can’t open. Bathroom is very close to bed. No room to sit except on the bed.
Very convenient location.
Very convenient location (near MRT stations, convenience stores, and restaurants). Room is clean and confortable, but I felt a bit cold and heard the noise from other rooms in the night. Front desk clerks speak Japanese a little. You can buy some wonderful souveniors and drawings.
Staff are very friendly and helpful. Clean and well maintained. Kids loved the candy area. We enjoyed the welcome drinks. Breakfast was good and had a variety of Asian dishes.
We were able to check out and leave our luggage at the hotel to pick up later as we weren’t leaving Taipei until mid afternoon after the checkout time. This is a great service that the hotel offered which we really appreciated.
Things to note:
- I am not a fan of the coffee that was offered. That being said, I have a hard time finding good coffee in Taiwan in general as tea seems to be more popular here.
- The mattresses are harder than I am used to. This is also common in Taiwan. Just something to be aware of.
Overall a great hotel. Would definitely recommend! Thank you! :)
I chose this hotel because it was close to Huashan Creative Park, and it turns out the hotel is actually part of the park, displaying artwork in their lobby. It’s a remodeled bank/warehouse, and you see that reflected in their mascot “Baobby” (which translates to “Treasure-y”) and the gold theme that is part of their decor. When we arrived we got tickets for a welcome drink (to be redeemed in their cafe), where you can choose from a variety of cocktails, mocktails, and caffeinated drinks. They also give you some bags to fill with traditional Chinese sweets (most of which are not great, IMO, but it’s cute and cultural and kids will eat anything). When we were getting candy, someone on staff came by and noticed a lot of the bins were empty and refilled them.
The beds were comfortable and the hotel rooms seemed clean. I stored some things on a shelf above the TV and noticed there wasn’t any dust there—which is unusually good for a hotel. The cleaning staff seemed friendly. My only complaints are that the area can be a little noisy—but that’s the area, not the hotel—and that an unpleasant smell came from the shower drain sometimes.
Overall, I highly recommend this hotel. It’s the same price as a more standard hotel, but the attentiveness of the staff makes it more welcoming and the design of the hotel makes it a unique experience.
I recently spent four nights at the Hua Shan Din in Taipei and had a truly memorable experience. First, I want to express my gratitude to the staff for their exceptional service and honesty.
After checking out and returning home to the San Francisco area, I received an email from the hotel informing me that I had left a significant amount of cash in my room. I will not explain the stupid reason for the cash being left behind.
I emailed back the hotel and arranged for my cousin to retrieve it along with other forgotten items. The hotel manager was diligent in verifying both my identity and my cousin’s before returning the cash to him.
I have to commend the hotel cleaning staff and front desk team for their integrity. I had heard about Taiwanese hospitality, safety, and honesty before, but experiencing it firsthand was truly remarkable.
For those seeking a hotel near a subway station, the Hua Shan Din by Cosmos Creation is an excellent choice. Styled after a bank vault with “gold” bars adorning the lobby and public areas, it has a unique charm. When I arrived before check-in time, they kindly stored my luggage while I went out for lunch. At 3 pm, the check-in process was smooth and efficient. My room was a decent size and well-equipped for a four-night stay. There is a subway station very close by where you access the entire system.
I highly recommend the Hua Shan Din hotel by Cosmos Creations of you want to stay in Taipei. I’ll be staying there again next time.
