10/10 Excellent

"We were put on the 5th Flr, at first we thought this room will be noisy because it’s close to the roadside, but to our surprise the room was relatively sound proof so the road noise didn’t affect our sleep. And you got try the pork chop at the Japonli restaurant, it’s tasty and no chewy. Very happy with our 5days stay."

"As a frequent visitor to Taipei, Illume is almost always my hotel choice. Rooms are generous in size, but not over appointed. Staff is helpful, but usually points you to the suite of automated services features - chatbot, self-checkin and out. The location is excellent, the fitness center is excellent and there are lots of places nearby for great coffee and food... plus a handy 7-11 in the hotel complex. Really everything you could possible need."

"5 star rating with the following notes: 1. The hotel is a bit old but the management team tries it best to keep up the property. 2. The swimming pool is small and the mall next door does not have much foot traffic. 3. The room lighting is sufficient but could be brighter 4. I got bug bites sitting on the cafe couch area 5. Overall a nice place to stay but for a grouchy person like me, it has room for improvements."
