"This Kyoto hostel completely overturned my impression of local accommodations being typically cramped. Very clean and comfortable. High-quality beddings. The living room was surprisingly spacious—easily accommodating our big group with over ten large suitcases! Located near Fushimi Inari Shrine and Tofukuji Temple, it was very peaceful at night. We had brought thick bedding, worried that Kyoto might be cold, but the rooms were extremely comfortable. "It was very special experience to stay at Japanese traditonal house with my family. It was a little bit far from the main sightseeing site but we were ok because we had a car. Kinkakuji was especially awesome."

"The premium suite was large, comfortable and extremely well-appointed with everything you might need. The location is a bit away from the major tourist spots but it’s quite close to Toji Station and only one stop from Kyoto Station. "

"The house was great and in perfect condition.
Great location as it is 3 min from the Inari shrine and close to the train station which is always helpful.
Nothing to complain about except 1 thing: there was no pool table as shown on the photos and we were not told about it. The guy who gave us the keys told us it is being fixed, which is fine but we would have prefered to know beforehand as we were very excited about it.

The location of the hotel is amazing, right next to a very popular photography spot in Gion. Because of this, expect some noises as there are always photographers outside around the clock. Washer dryer is really convenient. The rooms are very well maintained. Short walk to many stores and shops in Gion. "

"Great spot to stay at if you are driving all over Kyoto. They have their own parking spots. The place was really spacious and offered free bikes to use around town. They even have a washer and dryer. I’ll definitely come back!"

"Nice stay. Location in a great spot to see all of the sites and the room was good size. Super nice staff and the breakfast was really good. Definitely would stay there again. "
"A wonderful hotel. I wish we had stayed at this chain throughout other stops on our trip. The onsen, free laundry, and food contribute to the overall genuine experience."
"Did not try any meals here. Staff were great. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Wish they had more washing machines. Loved the complimentary drinks. Great location for access to Kyoto station."
"The place is very very clean. There is someone cleaning everyday. They also have a hot bath area where you can go and relax. If you love the sauna or hot tub you will love this. The breakfast was awesome, they had pastrami duck and steam duck dumplings. Staff are very friendly and quick to help. I am from New York I am use to the Hilton and this place beats the Hilton in every aspect of the hospitality industry. If I am ever in Japan or anywhere I will be sure to seek this Hotel out. I forgot to mention I stayed at 2 of them 1 in Tokyo and the other in Kyoto and I had the same experience at both. Great Hotel with great people."
