Search Bed and Breakfast in Takayama

"Check in was fast and the front desk personnel were able to speak English well. We reserved a room that had two twin beds and an adjoining tatami mat sitting room that could also function as additional bedroom with futons. The room and bathroom were very clean and in great condition. There was even a washing machine in the room so we could run a load of laundry. (It is also a dryer). Breakfast buffet was good and we also had dinner there one night; you can choose a main course (sukiyaki, etc) and also get the buffet to go with it. The staff is very efficient and friendly. The location is fantastic as it is right next door to the train station and the bus station and a short walk to the Old Town. I highly recommend this hotel and will stay there again."

"An unusual property the entire floor in the building is covered by tatami-like mat so everybody needs to take shoes off on the first floor. The onsen bath room is on the 13th floor with a good Takayama town view."
