"The location is far from beach which need 15 minutes drive to beach but it's nearby main road to find food so you don't need to worry midnight craving for food. "For a good short getaway for family with young kids and seniors, Hard Rock Desaru can be a good option. Morning breakfast has a decent spread. The nearby beach was great with fine sand that was perfect for the kids to play in. One can spot little hermit crabs along the beach as well which kept the kids entertained. Overall, it was a fun and relaxing family getaway with a good mix of beach time, activities, and good food nearby."
