Great place to stay and we love here the most among all 10 accommodations that you stayed during our 3 weeks holiday in Tasmania and Melbourne.

Nice environment. Spacious room. Near Cradle Mountain

Friendly welcome by Sam at reception, and we loved our Pademelon wood fire cabin! Perfect for the chilly weather and to meet our friendly residents - pademelon mum and baby, the rowdy pied currawong couple, hungry echidna and a very persistent brushtail possum who tried to push his way into the cabin when we wanted to get a log for our fire. The vintage DVDs were god-send - thank you. We managed to beat the crowd and avoid the shuttle by heading into the park early - but remember to display...

Nice! Our second stay at this place. We bought groceries from Woolworths at Deloraine.

Location of the hotel is convenient; it is very near to the various walks. Clean and spacious room. Good amenities provided. We enjoyed our stay!

Sheffield Motor Inn was a very pleasant surprise. We had a good impression from the moment we checked in. The staff was friendly and helpful and the rooms were spacious, very clean and well equipped. Our stay was most comfortable in the little town of Sheffield. Altogether it was a lovely stop on our road trip from Hobart to Launceston through Cradle Country.

It was only a one-night stay and we love the location. Room is clean and bed is comfortable. The shared bathroom and toilet are also very clean. Friendly lady attended to our check-in/out. Nice common area to cook and have dinner. Next to a creek where we had a nice evening walk.

Uniquely located. Quiet and overall a serene place.

chose this place as a rest stop after driving form hobart. bed is comfy. it has a heating pad! loved it. close to woolsworth and subway. like 3 mins drive away. the wifi is perfect.

The host is very friendly and helpful and provide us with the additional information on cradle mountain. The house we got were great and there is heating mat under the bed. The facilities were great too and we enjoyed out stay there. We were able to see wild animals in the late evening around the hotel and its such a lovely scene. We will definitely stay here again when we came back to visit Tasmania and cradle mountain.

What a delightful place! Full of interesting history, this beautiful Inn also boasted a lovely restaurant that served beautifully cooked food. We loved our Tassie scallops. The guest room was small but we ended up spending a lot of our time outside in the garden anyway. The friendly lady of the house gave us good travel advice and briefed us on local history. Highly recommended!
