"This was only intended for an overnight stay on a business trip - somewhere to sleep. However, this is a really lovely pub! We stayed for dinner and a few beers, which was both really tasty and excellent value, and breakfast was also first-class. The staff couldn't have been more helpful - just a really enjoyable stay. The room was absolutely fine, bed was comfy and the shower was good. I'd definitely stay here again. "

I received a phonecall earlier in the day from Lucy to say that the boiler was not working and they were unable to get anyone to fix it so they would be refunding us half of the cost back which was very nice of them as this was not their fault and these things happen. Checking in was easy, parking was fine, the room was lovely, comfortable, clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast was included and was very nice.
