"We have stayed in some pretty special places but the Grand National Hotel has been right at the top of them. The staff, especially Tim Oberli in the front office, was attentive and helpful. We would definitely recommend a stay here. "
"Though the hotel room is small in size, it has every thing. The breakfast was excellent. First time, we reached to the hotel by walking. It takes 10-8 min from the Luzern Station. Hotel provides a free bus card for the more convenience. Bus Stop is across from the hotel. There is a convenience store next to the hotel and some other restaurants. There is pizza/pasta and bar close to the hotel (across from the gas station) which opens until 11:00 pm. I like the hotel"
"Nice hotel close to the train station, breakfast was above average, they have a cute dinning area that has supplies like glasses, silverware and access to tea/coffee/water if you wanted to buy meals outside the hotel! We were able to leave our luggage after checkout with no fees which was a bonus! "

"Clean, cosy rooms with all amenities. Location is great, all attractions of Lucerne are within walking distance. Great connectivity to station and bus stop, mostly walkable. Local bus stop is right in front of the hotel. Polite and helpful hotel staff. Breakfast spread is also good. "
"Fantastic hotel near town and the staff was great. Starbucks downstairs was terrific! Our room was also very comfortable but a bit dirty. Stains in the carpet and furniture. There were also old slippers under the bed. We also had to request new towels because housekeeping didn’t tidy our room. We will be back one day though. "
