The staff were amazing. The breakfast buffet and restaurant were good. The location was very central and walkable. The room was spacious. The only downside to this hotel was in the cleanliness of the bathroom and bedding. If the bathroom was given a really good scrubbing and the grout in the tiles a clean with a bit of bleach to get rid of all the mildew it would make such a difference. The white bedding is not cleaned with any kind of whitening detergent so unfortunately they look a bit grubby and stained. My sheets were quite stained when I arrived, however housekeeping happily replaced them when I asked . The new sheets were still a bit stained but not as bad as before. I would recommend this hotel based on their exceptional staff, it’s just unfortunate their attention to some areas of cleanliness is not as exceptional.

Be aware of untrustful tour services
They provide wrong information about the tours in their brochure. Be aware you will have to pay extra and receive less in exchange. After complaining there where lots of apologies but no competition what so ever. The only good thing about the hotel is the lady in reception chaca because she is very king and willing to help. My suggestion is to keep looking.

Inconvenient
Some stuff which might make your trip more comfortable and easier, but unfortunately, not in your room, for instance: 1. Kettle (if you need hot water, you have to go to the restaurant at ground floor) 2. Hair dryer 3. the water temperature for bathing is unstable Rooms are quite clean, however the towels looks old and unsterilized. Sound barrier from room to room is terrible. Nevertheless the staffs here are welcoming and helpful.

Nice hotel but the shower is not very clean. Nice breakfast and good deal if you want visit the temples. Don't take the option sunrise is not very nice. Same thing for the option breakfast with the temple, is toast with coffee.

Zest Hotel is conveniently located within 1 km to Malioboro. We have stayed in a standard room, which ( except for the bath room) was clean. The bath room was not cleaned at all. There were male hairs all over and the bath curtain did not look fresh. The bed is really comfortable and the colours in the room as well in the lobby give you a cheery attitude. As there was no kettle in the room , we asked for a cup of hot water to drink tea in the evening and relax. The personnel brought hot water to the room which was a very good service, but unfortunately no one took away the cups during the daily clean of our room, nor did they take away the rubish. Breakfast is good, internet works well and personnel is helpfull.

Not worth it
We did not sleep much as door alarms kept going off through the night, and from the morning there is very loud muzak being played. The staff are friendly, and helpfull but few speak english. There are no restaurants around and the hotel only serves breakfast, the western part consisting of toast with jam and cornflakes. All in all, not worth it.

New hotel, room was clean and very nice. It was 2015 ied holiday when we stayed there and unfortunately the dining room for breakfast is not enough and ready to be filled with a lot of people, breakfast menu option was very poor. Parking is free but then it's very limited parking, we had to park on the side of the street because the hotel parking was full. The hotel crew was very nice and helpful though, I'm sure they will increase the service in the future

Great hotel, great location
Zest hotel is a nice hotel, not expensive at all! Great location. The rooms were clean, pool was nice. The breakfast isn't that great if you're not into rice and chicken. And the hallways are a bit noisy. Overall great experience!

I stayed three nights in this hotel! The room are simple and confortable. The employees are helpfull. The breakfast is fine. Not far from a bus stop to go to pambanan with public transport (3'600rp for one way). 15 minutes by walk to marlioboro. A good quality price for Yogyakarta.

Wir sind mit dem Nachtzug morgens um 03:30 in Yogyakarta angekommen und somit waren wir bereits um 04:00 in der Früh beim Hotel. OHNE Aufpreis und als ob es selbstverständlich wäre, konnten wir bereits einchecken! Was für ein Service! Die Hauptstrasse Malioboro Street ist in 10 Minuten zu Fuss erreichbar, da gibt es diverse Restaurants und viele Marktstände! Das Personal im Hotel ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit! Die Zimmer waren nicht wirklich sauber, aber unseren Erwartungen entsprechend. Frühstück wie in Indonesien so üblich (Fried Rice, Fried Noodles, Toast, Frucht, O-Saft).

가격대비 최고의 호텔 임. 청결하고 수영장에 객실 wifi도 잘 연결되고, 가격대비라 했지만 더 어느정도 더 고가여도 자중에 이용할 것임 조금 아쉬운 점은 말리오보로 거리와 1.4km정도 떨어져 있는 점이지만 트랜스 족자를 이용하면 거리가 400m 정도로 가까워짐,말리오보로 거리와 공항에서 투랜스 족자를 이용하여 호텔레 접근할 수 있음. 다음에도 족자에 가면 이용할 것임

Nice new hotel
Nice hotel, quite new. Staff speaking English. Pool was very cold. Breakfast average. 10 Minutes by foot to Malioboro.

This is the hotel you take from yogyakarta
If you are going to yogyakarta, this is the hotel you want to take. Price per night is very good. Room was very clean, breakfast was enjoyable with fresh milk, cereals, fruits, toasts tea and indonesian food. Definitely would take this again in case ever going yogyakarta again. Location is also good. Taxi price to airport 75000rp, trainstation 40000rp. Hotell staff very kind, ordered us pizza from local italian restaurant when we asked. Also some good places to eat in range of 600m

Great hotel, with all amenities, really worth it!
Very clean and comfortable room, good location (20 min walk from center). Lots of amenities (AC, TV, pool). Bathroom could be even cleaner, as well as the pool. Breakfast needs a big improvement ! Only Indonesian food options. Great budget hotel which cost us almost nothing (14€ a night), which is an incredible deal in Yogyakarta for such an hotel!

servis yg bagus, bersih dan harga bersahabat
Ingin mencari hotel yg bisa berjalan kaki dari malioboro namun kehabisan di musim libur lebaran. via Expedia kami dapat hotel ini dg harga yg baik dan ternyata servis juga baik meskipun kurang dekat dg lokasi yg kami harapkan. Kebersihan ok, baik dalam kamar maupun ruang makan dan semua bagian hotelnya. Hanya rasa makanan yang agak kurang cocok. Bagi traveler bisnis atau keluarga hotel ini boleh direkomendasikan.

Review Kamar Hotel Twin Deluxe
Hotel ini terbilang masih sangat baru, baru 2 bulan buka katanya. Nah,untuk penilaian hotel keseluruhan not bad. Karena harga terjangkau dan fasilitas lumayan. Kamar nyaman untuk keseluruhan, breakfast oke.Hanya saja sayangnya di kamar yang saya tempati (twin deluxe) tidak ada water heater, lalu tidak ada lemari untuk simpan pakaian hanya ada tempat gantung tanpa tutup, kemudian brankas ada dalam kondisi diluar begitu saja yang berbahaya, lalu tidak ada alat pendingin. Ini kalau di kamar tipe twin deluxe, saya tidak tahu kamar tipe lain.
