Spas in Hoan Kiem

While it might be a bit more expensive than other Hanoi hotels, this is the place to stay. A spectacular building full of history and the staff is great. We were upgraded to the club floor (not sure why) and the room was one of the nicest I've ever been in. Came with a "butler", which was handy for booking meals etc. As it was toward the end of our trip we decided to have dinner in the hotel's French restaurant, which was disappointing. The room had little ambiance and the meal was not worth the cost. Otherwise, though, a tremendous place to stay.

Stayed just one night but was very impressed with the location, staff, and luxuriousness of rooms. Also, spent a nice evening with my girlfriend up in the jacuzzi area which had a great sunset view.
