"What an amazing find this hotel was. A local friend recommended this hotel to my wife and me. I trusted his judgment and booked. We have been here more than a week. While we have stayed in Hanoi's exclusive hotels, costing much more money in the past, the Royal Palace has been much more satisfying. The hotel is on a quiet side street in the Old Quarter, but just a few minutes walk to the excitement of shopping and eating. The most noteworthy comment is the friendly and interested staff. My wife fell in love with a few of them and would happily take them home with us! Choose this hotel and you will be feeling like royalty. "

"If you want a 5 star hotel experience stay here. From the moment we arrived our every need was looked after. Paula wasn’t feeling too well one morning and Benny in the dining room went out of his way getting herbal drinks for her and even sending some to our room that night. Thomas and Jeremy and the staff at the front desk made sure we knew where we were going and on our return would have drinks ready for us , much appreciated in the heat. A big thank you to all the staff."

"My partner and I had an wonderful experience at May De Ville Lakeside hotel. Its service was exceptional, particularly by Hannah. The rooms are spacious, the bed was so comfortable, and the room service menu was tasty and priced reasonably. The hotel's location is also convenient, central to all the attractions around the Old Quarter and close walk to the Ho Hoan Kiem lake as well as steps away to the weekend market. We throughly enjoyed our stay at May De Ville Hotel in Hanoi and we highly recommend!"

"The location is good, the room is comfortable, and the breakfast is delicious. Above all, the staff were very kind. When the pick-up for the Halong Bay tour I had booked from Japan didn't come, I was waiting aimlessly, and they called the tour company to inquire. While I was waiting, they offered me tea and snacks, and suggested that I wait in the room. I am very grateful for their kind consideration."

"It’s a beautiful hotel within walking distance to Hoàn Kiếm Lake. Lots of food, shopping and travel agencies right outside of the hotel where one can go to book trips, excursions and exchange money. The hotel also has a beautiful rooftop bar and pool. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. It made our stay pleasurable. Our rooms were very clean and we were up on the 8th floor away from the noise. The rooms were lovely, however, I’d suggest that the hotel improve the lighting in the bathroom and provide lighter bed covers. The current thick down comforter is too warm and not comfortable for sleeping. "

The staff ...I honestly cannot express our gratitude nor how ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE AND AMAZING they are in words alone . From the BEAUTIFUL girls at front desk to the doorman , unbelievable . A very special thank you to Tamila , she took us in and made everything better than perfect !! Even went so far as to pack us a breakfast /lunch as we left for our flight left before breakfast was served . With staff as truly OUTSTANDING as they are, this place will be the ONLY Hotel I will stay in when in Hanoi . Truly remarkable Thank you so much to you all ❤️🌹"
