"As long as you go with realistic expectations you will be ok at the Lucarelli. We received a great welcome and we had a good nights sleep. The room was basic definitely no-frills but the TV gave good service, and all we needed was a stopover on a long journey. We were too tired to dine in the restaurant but I know from previous visits that the food and service is really good. It was certainly busy last night which is a good sign."

"We booked the Paddocks which had a self contained very well equipped kitchen in an enclosed courtyard It provided a very comfortable overnight stay. We couldnt fault it. "Susan is an excellent host. Unobtrusive, but there when needed and nothing is too much trouble. She also provides an excellent and varied breakfast. Although in the middle of the village, the property is private and secure. Our room was comfortable and lacked nothing. It was also warm as the temperature dropped below freezing outside. "Stayed here before a track event at Donington and honestly it is one of the best B&Bs I have ever stayed in. Beverley is a wonderful host and from the moment she greeted us was full of advice, and tips to make our stay more comfortable. The bed was so comfortable I crashed out and didn’t stir at all.
