"Good location close to the Minster. Room was on the main road side of the building, but we'll sound proofed. Some noise from the bar, but this is expected in a pub. Problem with loss of hot water pressure on the final morning was irritating, but these things happen. Clean and comfortable. We did not have breakfast so cannot comment on the food. "

Pickering itself was limited if you wanted evening meals and not just pub food but we found an Indian restaurant within a 2 minute walk from the hotel which was recommend."

"I would recommend a stay here for the fabulous central location. The room was clean and check in instructions were very clear. Please be aware there was no reception as such, but if needed you can leave your luggage at the bar next door, and there were emergency contacts listed. We didn't need any of this but good to know. "We had a really lovely couple of days stay in the Romany caravan. We were greeted with the warmest of welcomes. Bruce left us the most amazing welcome pack, lots of homemade goodies we were well & truly spoilt. Great little place with stunning views and peace and quiet.
