good parking,if you get there early not meny spaces,15 min walk to town,no need to use car which you save on parking fees,staff were very helpfull, rooms were very clean, breakfast was good ,only down fall the tv was to small for the room but i would book again we realy enjoyed the stay and the prices for stopping there were reasnoable thanks mick

Staff were very friendly and helpful, room was adequate for our needs ,a bit tired though in decor, bathroom was very small and in need of an update. Beds comfortable plenty of fresh tea,coffee in room each day, but not fresh towels 😞

Hanno provato a chiedere nuovamente il pagamento per il soggiorno , per fortuna avevo con me la ricevuta stampata prima di partire. Pulizia inesistente lenzuola e federe sporche e strappate, asciugamani da non avere il coraggio di usarli e oltre a questo neppure pulito la camera è non cambiato ne biancheria ne asciugamani oltre a tutto ciò ambienti invasi dall' odore della cucina , tremendo , dove preparavano la colazione . Soggiorno da dimenticare sconsigliatissimo

BUGS!!! Disgusting!! DO NOT STAY THERE. beds were dirty, sheets were dirty and disgusting! Smelled! BUGS BUGS BUGS. We left and stayed at the Holiday Inn express. Breakfast was at 8-9. Too early and should be at least for 2 hours or you should still be able to get a coffee but No. My son has two very large bites on his legs that are infected. I wouldn’t stay there. Please consider this place for you stay.

I good bed and breakfast stay.

The room was clean quiet and comfortable. I was a single customer but the room was large enough for a couple, indeed larger than some top class hotels I have stayed in. The shower was hot and with a strong spray which is how I like it. The advertised breakfast was good and served quickly. The registration was quick. I was out most of the two days I stayed so I had no cause to call on the staff for any services including the WiFi which was advertised

A good value bed and breakfast

The check in was quick but impersonal. The accommodation was basic but comfortable. On the plus side was the location just a ten minute walk to the centre of York

A pre Christmas markets break.

An average b&b 15 mins from the centre of York. A nice breakfast and a good friendly host. The rooms were clean but dated , they have a small car park at the side shared with thier sister b&b the park inn.

Christmas Market Visit

stayed here last year so booked again this year, as within easy walking distance of York. The room we had was a little tired in the bathroom. No blind up at window, bath was scratched and surface looked like someone had tried to re-paint it. The bed was really comfy and room lovely and clean. Owners really helpful and friendly.

This guest house is very basic but has everything you need for a brief stay. The building is warm and clean, the room i had was average size with small bathroom. There were some asthetic areas that you could see needed work but nothing that affected my stay. The staff were pleasant and helpful. Parking was easy which is a big bonus in the city. For those with long legs you could walk to the city centre shopping area in 10 minutes, 15 for the rest of us!

Excellent value for money just 10 minutes walk from the minster. The only downside is the cooked breakfast could be a bit better. Overall I would definitely stay there again as it was clean, convenient and comfortable.

Gepflegtes kleines Hotel

Gepflegtes kleines Hotel mit kleinen, ruhigen und sauberen Zimmer, reichhaltiges Frühstück. Top ist die Lage, da in York alles von dort aus bequem zu Fuß zu erreichen ist. Schön ist auch, dass auf jedem Zimmer ein Wasserkocher vorhanden sind. Täglich wird der Vorrat an Kaffee und Tee ergänzt!
