"What can I say other than WOW! I booked this as a last-minute trip to join friends out there. From the moment I booked, they were attentive and wanted to be of assistance wherever they could. Once you arrive, you are greeted by the most friendly, welcoming, and attentive porter/doorman. He couldn’t go further for you if he tried, and whilst always with a smile and friendly demeanour. The check-in staff made the whole experience of checking in smooth and quick. They give you every bit of advice and information you need for your trip and are there to assist. The only thing I would pick is that to get ice to the room is impossible, and after checking out, I found out that to actually get it, you have to pay, which shocked me even as a Brit. Other than that, the room facilities/features, rooftop bar, spa, and being only a 75-room hotel, you feel like you’re at home but better! I have been mentioning this hotel to friends and family to come visit, but for sure, I will be staying with you again many more times."

"This is an amazing hotel smack bang in the middle of Lisbon and in a great poition to explore all sections of the city. There is a metro and a train station within a stone's throw, a beautiful rooftop bar and outdoor seating area for breakfast offering superb views of the city and castle, espescially at night. Rooms are excellent with comfy beds and great bathrooms and extras. Staff very welcoming & helpful & there is a varied & tasty breakfast. We like to explore everywhere on foot so this was ideal for us and it offered the comfort and quality we appreciated after a hard day pounding the streets. We received a free room upgrade (due to a birthday) and they offer complimentary chilled lemon infused water & snacks in the lobby to guests to help themselves to. A lovely spot, cannot fault it. Thank you!"

"A Memorable Stay Thanks to the Wonderful Staff After many hours of air travel, we arrived at the hotel feeling very tired. The hotel staff were exceptionally warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind. Although we arrived well before the official check-in time, they kindly allowed us to check in as soon as our room was ready. We truly appreciated their thoughtfulness and their willingness to do their best to make their guests comfortable. The hotel’s location is excellent. It is close to the metro, surrounded by many restaurants, cafés, and shops, and within easy walking distance of many of the city’s main attractions. Our room was modern, clean, and thoughtfully designed with a simple yet practical layout that made our stay very comfortable. Thanks to the wonderful staff and the convenient location, we had a delightful stay. We would happily recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Lisbon and would gladly stay here again. A special thank you to the front desk team for making us feel so welcome after our long journey from Canada. Your kindness meant more to us than you know."

"Amazing hotel. From the friendliness of the staff to the remarkable beauty of the decor of the hotel , it was a perfect stay. The historical architecture and beautiful decor was so wonderful to be surrounded by on a daily basis. The atmosphere was calm and it seemed like we were staying at a home rather than a hotel. The morning breakfast was superb and surrounded by beautiful details such as the majestic chandeliers and embroidered tablecloths. All the details are well laid out. The bar is great as well. The attention to making the stay unique such as welcome us with pastéis de nata and chocolates in the room initiate the caring environment. They even left us a bag with the hotel emblem in the room that I use all the time. Getting into the hotel if you have a car is tricky but there will be someone there to park the car right away. Everything interesting is within walking distance. Restaurants, shopping, churches and green zones in the city are very close by. Hotel is right by the train station that can take guests to Porto and elsewhere in Portugal. We will definitely go back and experience the magical environment of Avenida Palace. The best sleep I have ever had as well. Great views and soft beds make for a very relaxing stay."
