"This hotel was in the perfect location for a short 2 day trip to Taipei. The hotel staff was excellent and helpful. Our room was much bigger than I’m used to when traveling internationally. We will stay here when we come back to Taipei in the future."

"Property is well located with MRT within short walking distance. Lots of good eateries around the area. The night market is also close by with the wharf for the night view. A convenience store was 2 doors away. The room is of a good size n the bed was comfortable. I didnt open the window as the noise fm the wet market downstairs could b heard. The hotel is likely a renamed new hotel as the old name Nine Hotel was more visible on arrival to hotel. There are small steep steps to take to enter the hotel for check in on the 2nd floor so be aware of this if you hv heavy luggage. I was lucky there was a helpful front desk staff to help me bring up my luggage. I thought the shared lounge was a bit small to accommodate minimal people. "

"The front desk and lobby staff were very friendly, professional and helpful although Mandarin is not my first language. They were always on hand to provide assistance readily and answer my inquiries. The rooms were also very well-cleaned and the cleaning staff also greet guests with a cheerful disposition. The only downside perhaps was I felt the indoor bath temperature was a bit too hot for me."

"Interesting history to the hotel! Great tunnel tour and incredible halibut! Great hiking trail out back for an hour hike every day. View of the 101 building."

"Free mini bar is a nice touch. However, the lighting in hotel lobby and the room could be a little brighter. I found it difficult to see well. All in all the hotel and its location are great, clean and convenient. Staff are courteous and helpful. Breakfast buffet is generous and delicious. I enjoyed my stay at the hotel immensely."

"My wife and I enjoyed out eight-night stay at Landis. Staff were all extremely attentive, courteous, and helpful, including the cleaning staff, who checked daily (sometimes twice a day) if we needed anything. Check-in was quick and efficient, and a porter brought our luggage to the room. We had a pleasant stay and would consider booking again. There is an elegant Chinese restaurant on the lower lever of the hotel with some nice decorations, and the head waiter assisted us in choosing several entrees as we were not familiar with much of what was on the menu. Breakfast is served daily on the lobby level in what during the day is a French restaurant. "

"This hotel is definitely underrated. It is at least a four or 4 1/2 star. The rooms are well appointed and comfortable and quiet and very up-to-date. The staff is helpful and the location is excellent directly across from the train station the Shillin market a short walk away. So many food options to choose from. Even a bar almost next door. "
