Beautiful spacious property (President’s villa). The second room did not have a place to hang clothes though. The food at the only restaurant open could have been better. But the stunning sunrises over the seabed and expansive views of the ocean more than made up for these flaws. The view from my villa’s pool and the humongous bathroom was just amazing and the main reason I chose this sea-facing accommodation.

Staff were really friendly and very helpful for everything!! The resort needs alot of repairs and maintenance to be done as it’s really deteriorating. The western food menu for room service and the restaurant is really bad and same goes for the breakfast. The choice is quite small and the breads were not fresh at all . It’s really far from the ferry port and there’s nothing around beside the beautiful beach otherwise restaurant, shops there is nothing in walking distance so much always pay for a taxi which cost $20 for a quick trip down the road . They offered a free shuttle to the beach which was great and they also pick you up . Overall an average stay at the resort

Mid point cycle tour stopover

Room service and food delivery is prompt and tasty. I did not get the name but there is one staff who is doing the billing at the ocean restaurant and is giving room service and also at the breakfast buffet who made the stay pleasant. The booking staff is also responsive on WhatsApp for taxis.

I highly recommend this hotel! The staff is wonderful- their kindness makes it a very special Place! we had the villa isla - all rooms and the bathroom are clean and a great aircon. My wonderful driver Indra Lim( 62 852-6413-1876) made our trip awesome- he is absolutely reliable and polite at all times! he planed for us a absolutely wonderful snorkeling tour and spend the hole day with us- the men at the snorkeling are great- me and my daughters had so much fun do snorkeling in their pool and outside in the sea. They were taking care the hole time and made fresh scallops for us- we loved it! They also did kayaking to the white sand island with us and helped My daughters to collect beautiful shells as souvenirs. Indra also took us to a mangrove tour which was very interesting and we loved the swing above the river! One man in the hotel called drika was also unforgettable with his great smile and he took us spontaneously to a beautiful beach and gave me and my girls so much time while he was waiting and payed attention on us. We want to come back!

Journey to the villa itself takes an hour from the ferry terminal. Same goes to other attractions available in Bintan. Its best if you hire a personal driver/car for the whole trip (they know the area very well). Food in the 2 available restaurants were decent, even though some of the seafood items were not in stock. Our favourite was the American breakfast, with the servers in the restaurant who were very accomodating. It would be best if microwave is provided so we can heat up the food/snacks we brought from the local vendors. Every Villa Isla has its own pool but there were a few facing the entrance of the villa. Women with hijab or whoever is not comfortable with having an open personal swimming pool can request for the villa we stayed in as our pool was facing the bushes, away from public/ open areas. We were impressed with the service of the staff, especially the receptionist. Thank you for making our stay a comfortable one. Your service will be remembered as one of the things that made our stay here in Bintan memorable.
