This was a terrible experience for my family.
The good. It is a large resort with some good areas for pictures. We did enjoy the pools. The staff are friendly and smile.
The bad. We checked in and went to our room. The room is in major need of a paint job, the high ceiling in particular is supposed to be white but has black patches of dirt or mold. These rooms are old so don't expect a Marriott.
We arrived around 7pm so we went out to eat at the pier where the front desk said there was a bbq. They say we can but first we want to walk to the end of the pier and back. He says fine, come back and decide. We walked to the end of the pier and back in less than 10 minutes. Upon return, there was a different person at the front. They laugh when I ask for a seat, saying there is no room for me. Empty tables but they say reserved. I tried to explain but to no avail. We go back to the room to order room service. There is no menu. I call the concierge. They say they can read the menu to me. No, I want to see a menu. They tell me to go down and get one at the restaurant instead of offering to bring one. So I walk to the restaurant and get a menu. I tried to call to order and cannot get through so I walk back to order. Over an hour later at 9pm our food comes. Next day I reserve the bbq. We show and they can't find the reservation. They got the room number wrong. We ask front desk for mosquito repellent. They say go to store. We go to store they say go to front desk.
Don't go!
