"The room I stayed in was right next to the elevator. I did request several times to be moved due to the noise made by the elevators going up and down. My requests fell on deaf ears."

Fresh new hotel along St Kilda Road. Neighborhood is mostly office towers and condo blocks, but is a 20-minute walk from the South Melbourne shopping area or a 20-minute tram ride to St. Kilda beach. Very pleasant and walkable neighborhood. The hotel is quite new, fresh, and extremely clean. Service was great although scope of facilities is more limited than a full-service hotel.

After staying at about 12 hotels across Asia and US this year, this was by far the best trained, most friendly and helpful staff I have encountered. The actual hotel was lovely, modern, new and fresh. The room was very comfortable (Corner King) with a large sofa, table for Dijon’s or working, USB-C ports, a well laid out bathroom with a massive shower. But the distinguishing factor was definitely the people - no request was too small, I was greeted very warmly when I entered and when I left...

Check-in was a breeze, room is clean and well-maintained. Did not like the bathroom door though, it’s a shared door where you could use it to either close the shower or the toilet area.
Convenient parking within building, but would be better if the cost could be included
Simple breakfast options, nothing to shout about.
Very easy self check-out via room tv

Situated directly opposite Southern Cross Station, where the Airport Shuttle (SkyBus) pick up/drop off point is located. 3 minutes walk to nearest supermarket (Coles) and Spencer Outlet Centre. Tram station (with free tram services) towards City Centre is just at the doorstep of the hotel.
Hotel is relatively new and in great condition. Friendly hotel staff which are very helpful.
