The access to the beach was great. You can walk along the beach and enjoy the beautiful scenery. What I don’t like was their toilet which they didn’t clean properly before we checked in and their shower room was flooding.

Only benefit was beach access way over priced squashy bed. old furniture not for 6 by any stretch. no wifi needs a makeover expected better as websites misleading

This is the best caravan park we have stayed at. Coffee & food trucks and activities for the kids in the school holidays. Texts from the owners keeping us up to date. We stayed in a safari tent and it was like a chalet! And so close to the beach. The atmosphere was beautiful. We will definitely be coming again!

We stayed in a beach hut, which is ok for a night or two. Layout is a bit strange with having the kitchen basically in the bedroom. Little bits and pieces were broken for example toilet door lock and a couple of fly nets in the windows. Beds were okay. They are close to the beach which is nice.

FANTASTIC location, very friendly staff and greeting and info on check in was great, little walk and your on the beach. I will hopefully be able to stay there in the future. Having a full size fridge was also great. Real value for money here.

We usually bring a caravan. Haven’t been to Amblin for about 8 years. Before that we came at Easter for 2 weeks for over 20 years. Loved staying there. Would of liked to have stayed longer

We stayed 3 nights in the beach huts during winter. The roof was dripping water on our beds and belongings. The kitchen was well equipped but no oven. The bedding was clean and fresh but the mattresses had seen better days. The main campers kitchen was completely empty so I wouldn’t stay here if we were in a tent. Great location. We would stay again but maybe choose a different type of accommodation.

Thank you for your review Kellee - I'm sorry to hear there was a drip in the rood - we were not aware of this, so thank you for bringing this to our attention so we can rectify it immediately. You are correct the huts do not have an Oven - only our Bungalows and Cottages do. Regarding the campers kitchen - due the current climate we find ourselves in - we have had to remove all shareable items, like plates, cups and crockery. We do find that most campers have these on hand when camping anyway and mainly use the microwave, fridge and hot-plates provided in the campers kitchen. I definitely recommend trying our Bungalows or Cottages if you stay again - I think this would be better suited to your needs. Best regards

The pool was great very warm and a good size. It was very close the the beach. Cabin was clean but quite small. Had to squeeze past the bed/wardrobe to get to the other side. Fridge and aircon didn’t really work right. But adequate overall accommodation.

The location was good and we got cottages close to the beach so it made a big difference for us to carry our kayaks to the beach. Also, it is an estuary so very safe for children to swim

It took less than two minutes to walk to the beach, with only a walk path to cross. The kids absolutely loved it!
