One of the best Hotel that I have stayed in langkawi. I won't mind staying in the same hotel for my next visit. One major reason of the excellent review is because it is brand new.
Hotel exterior looks like the only store in the neighborhood however after exploring a little, you can find more stuff nearby. Plus point, the hotel is less than 5min drive to the airport
Check in was a breeze. staff are very friendly and helpful.

Stayed at the Kutai room (number 1) and it was perfect size for couple (also includes a single bed too for a young child). The room is absolutely gorgeous and clean! You have to take off your shoes inside but this is what I usually do at home so it was not a problem. It is beautifully decorated and even has airconditioning! Love the rustic feel of the place. Sadly got bitten by mosquitoes the whole night despite the mosquito net and and AC turned on. Another minor issue is that the toilet floor...

Let me be clear, Berjaya Langkawi Resort is not for everyone. It's not a resort with all 5-star amenities or shinning new decors or middle of city night life. It's for the nature lovers, the adventurists, one's who prefer serenity and peaceful vacation.
We had our 4 night stay in Berjaya Langkawi during early Sep and the experience was completely different from our other vacations. Located right at the foothills in the midst of lush green forest, the resort has its unique chalets. From outside,...

This property is really one of its kind, nothing commercialised about it. My mom really enjoyed the scenery and how peaceful it is here, it’s great for a relaxing vacation to just take your mind off things back home. It is the definition of slow living here, and learning to appreciate and be in tune with the beautiful surroundings and unique heritage houses. Bonus point being that there are MANY estate cats here who are very friendly and happy to lounge with us in our room everyday. Loved it...

The Westin is a beautiful hotel. The rooms are modern, clean and comfortable. We loved the bed and slept very well. The food is excellent. We really enjoyed the seafood and the breakfast buffet especially. The staff can't do enough for you and are very approachable. There are a few pools, a lovely pool bar and enough loungers around the place. There was so much to do in Langkawi, we wished we could have stayed longer. We did jet ski, parasail, mangrove tour and cable car.

We just spent 8 nights here over the xmas break. It's a fabulous hotel with great facilities. We particularly loved the beach view we had from our room balcony, where we chilled most evenings pre dinner. The location is great, there is an extensive breakfast buffet & the staff are super helpful & friendly. Highly recommend.

In all my travels around the world for years, this is the first hotel that i have experienced all the staff giving warm, hospitable smiles and greetings whenever you walk by them, irregardless of what their job is or they are doing. From the pick up at the airport to the time that we left, I really enjoyed the excellent service, facilities and hospitality in this classy beach resort hotel.

The check-in process was smooth and staff are friendly and welcoming. Room was spacious, comfy and clean. Same for the shower/toilet - very spacious and clean. There is a basket of complimentary snacks in the room, also bottled water and if the water finishes within the day, there is a water dispenser in the corridor.
The swimming pool was also great to chill at. Relaxing and you can have food/drinks ordered from the bar counter served at your seat by the pool.

Nice hotel, closer to the airport. Feels like in the middle of nowhere, so a good break from your every day hustle. Good for a short stay of 2-3 days. Hotel have no kitchen but breakfast was provided which was tasty and adequate, but was same for both days. Pool is clean and water is salty as it's a natural disinfectant.
Better have dinner outside before you return in the evening as there is nothing nearby except a supermarket which is decent.
A pleasant surprise was the hotel taxi...
