There are several quiet nooks and patios scattered in the hotel that made me wish I had all the time in the world just to sit in each for a few hours. Everyone here is kind and thoughtful. "The room was clean and well situated. Breakfast was very good quality and the staff was always pleasant and willing to help with any requests. Between my two stays (I was gone 4 days for the Inca Trail), the staff kept my luggage safe on their location and I found it waiting in my room when I returned. Everything was top notch. I was at Tierra Viva 14 years ago when I first went to Peru and it was my first choice returning this year. I do not regret that choice and would make it again in a heartbeat if I returned."

"Palacio del Inka, a Luxury Collection Hotel By Marriott in Cusco is a first class hotel with first class service and within walking distance to all of the central Cusco attractions. They also have a baby Alpaca that you can pet each day in the hotel courtyard! 😁 We stayed in room 462 which has a little balcony with outstanding views of the city. The king bed was so comfortable and the room had a large tv with Spanish and English channels, an in-room safe, small refrigerator, iron, espresso machine and other fabulous amenities. Clean and good AC! The hotel has an amazing bar an restaurant and the staff were incredibly friendly, attentive and helpful. The breakfast buffet was outstanding, additionally, you could order eggs to your preference (also included). They even placed a birthday cake in our room for my birthday. They will also arrange airport pickup and transfer to the hotel for approx $25. Just an outstanding hotel in an excellent location with incredible staff. Stay here if you are going to explore Cusco!"
