The staff here were TERRIFIC, so I feel bad leaving a negative review. But it's important to be truthful. There were a lot of problems: - During my 4-night stay, the toilet broke TWICE. Once it started leaking, and another time it got clogged. - There wasn't a proper desk or chair in the room, making it very hard to use my large laptop. There was a small bedside table and a wooden block you could sit on, but that was it. - The pools were really small and just not that nice. - The water pressure in the shower was pathetic. - The water pressure in the sink would change for no reason, spraying water everywhere.

After staying at a busy resort for a week, a couple of days at Pai Tan was very relaxing. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable and the pools were warm and inviting. Pai Tan is a short walk to the beach and restaurants. We loved the gardens surrounding the villas and although the breakfast was simple, it was very tasty. We were able to organise a later check out before our flight. Would recommend.

The pools were perfect, the staff were excellent, the cleanliness was great. Maybe they could add a lunch/dinner service but that would be my only wish. The rest was perfect 👌

Lovely and peaceful space a short walk to to the beach, but not right on it. The pool was great and the breakfast was nice. Lovely service. The bed was hard but they put on a blanket to soften it a bit.

Happy with stay
My welcome was very friendly and professional. I was informed that I had received an upgrade which was also nice. The resort is nice and quiet. 2 pools both clean and perfect for when it's really hot. The housekeeping staff are friendly and so are the reception staff. Always nice smile from the boys on reception. The Manager runs the place well. I decided to stay on but not book via hotels.com and booked direct. Much better

Pai Tan Villas is a little gem in Bangtao Beach and the owner Charm truly a charm! The hotel is small regarding room count (13 rooms in total) which was exactly what we were looking for - we actually tried to extend our stay for an additional night but the hotel was completely booked, which is understandable! The rooms have a good size, are extremely clean and all face the pool. Mini fridge, TV and very good working A/C in the rooms make the stay comfortable, even though you will not spend a lot of time inside because the pool is just too inviting and the beach is also just a 5 min walk away! The staff is great and the property really well kept and neat! We enjoyed our stay here very much and would definitely come back!

Great little hotel, lovely pool, best house in a slightly seedy area. Never felt unsafe and got great service from Tiger’s Taxi Service just over the bridge. Reception staff all very helpful but English is a bit limited, having said that, our Thai is nonexistent!

Amazing stay in this lovely Villa
Stayed for 2 nights with my boyfriend - loved it! We selected a double room, and basically had the small pool right outside all to ourselves which was amazing. Room is spotless, spacious, and the bed is comfy (a rare thing in Thailand it seems!) and shower is great. Really enjoyed our time here, the staff are lovely and very helpful when we had questions and needed to make a phone call. Good location about a 2 min walk to bars and restaurants and 5/10 min walk to the beach! Loved it

Nice stay in a good location. The room was nice but starting to feel a little old. The bathroom was fine but perhaps needed a bit of modernisation. Great breakfast cooked to order, and really friendly staff. Parking on site not an issue.

A beautiful oasis!
This hotel is exceptionally good for a 3☆. We were always happy to go back after a day at the beach or sightseeing. The management and staff were extremely efficient and friendly, especially Sharm who couldn't have done more to make us feel at home.

Close to the beach, relaxing and peaceful
Friendly staff at the reception. The property is in good condition of maintainence. Beautiful plants and flowers, but it comes to a cost, so buy a powerful mosquito repellent. Room has a decent size, bed is cosy, bathroom is clean and comfy. Swimming pools are inviting and the biggest one gets sunlight all day long, so it’s very warm and relaxing. The beach is very close via a shortcut. 150 metres away you’ll find restaurants, 7/11, atm and tuk tuk! I advice “the beach cuisine” restaurant, it is on the beach and food is very good. The beach is 200 metres away. Bang Tao beach is 5/6 miles long. Very peaceful and perfect for running. It is not overcrowded like Patong, so if you need some relax it’s perfect.

Great hotel with great service
This was a perfect stay in a really great environment! The service was great with everytime just the unexpected extra step that makes you smile! Really nice and clean room with great bed and nice shower. Enough closet space for two people and a refrigerator with cool drinks. Nice a la cart breakfastnevery morning served fresh to your taste. Two swimming pools so you can choose the one that's more private or convenient at anytime. If I would have to give one negative point it would be that rooms are not very soundproof so you can hear other people in the pool when you are sleeping past 9 am. Apart from that no problems at all. We prefer Pai tan villas over the hotels and resort with direct beach access. It's totally worth the 5 minute walk. Bang Tao is a really quit area far away from all the loud and touristic places on Phuket. We would stay again for sure!

Brand New Reno - Great Location!
My boyfriend I really enjoyed staying here. The location is convenient to the beach and a dozen restaurant/bar is within walking distance. The Villa itself was gorgeous - we essentially had a private pool right outside of our room which was the highlight of our stay. Breakfast was affordable, would recommend any time. Sad I didn’t stay longer. Will book again in the future!

After reading reviews, I decided on Pai Tan villas though it's not exactly near the beach. Best thing about this place is everything is on ground level. I was traveling with my elderly mum and the fact that we didn't have to climb a million steps to get to our rooms was the deciding factor. Staff are friendly, always wearing a smile. Rooms are huge and clean thanks to Housekeeping. Nice,Quiet place to unwind, unlike along Patong stretch. Only gripe I have is the mosquitoes. You can't really chill poolside without being attacked by mozzies. And it's worse in the night. But having said that, the mozzy issue is not only in the resort. It's an island wide problem. Everywhere you go, as long as there's no aircon, the mozzies will be there.

Within walking distance of shops and beach.
Pai Tan Villas – Bang Tao Beach. These villas are just 7 years old but built very much around a wood theme and being separate to each others. The scene in photos are actually of some joined rooms but the villa area is around a larger pool. This pool was excellent for my 71 years giving me a rail and steps to lead into the water. It also allowed my daughter with her brace on her knee to get in and out without assistance, something she revelled in. We did not have breakfast included here but when we wandered out into the street through the breakfast area there seemed to be more people enjoying breakfast than we had seen around the complex. Mannie (either the owner or manager) was helpful with information whenever we required it. A short walk down a very hot street took us to the beach where there were quite a few beachside café or restaurants. Going up and down the streets were many motor bike tuk tuks which would take you wherever you wanted, we had one ride just for the sheer joy of being on one. We didn’t swim in the sea at Ban Tao but many people were with longboats available to hire and take you further out. This beach is quieter bordered by trees, there was one very large hotel on the beach which seemed to have mainly English people staying there.

Great accommodation, quiet not like some of the big hotels. Manee and her staff do everything to make your stay comfortable. We upgraded to a pool villa room which we loved it, room was large, huge bathroom with a seperate bath and shower. The room was spotless and quiet. Pool was a bonus, Bangtao beach is only 10 min walk and is beautiful. You can use the sun beds belonging to the bars & restaurants at charge of 200 Bart each. Pai Tan was everything we wanted, thanks Manee hope to see you again in the near future.

We had a lovely time at Pai Tan enjoying the elegant hospitality of the hostess. There's sun throughout the day in the pool area and the pool itself is very nice, especially as we had it to ourselves a lot of the time. Bangtao Beach is about a 5 minute walk away and in the other direction the area has retained a rather rural feel with views of the hills nearby and many trees. There are plenty of bars around but at the Villas you definitely feel completely sheltered from such activities, it's that serene.

Vi bodde som familj (2 vuxna och 2 tonåringar) i två rum med låsbar dörr emellan. Väldigt praktiskt med två badrum. Fräsch mindre pool i direkt anslutning. Rätt charmigt boende. Strand på gångavstånd. Vägarna i närheten var i rätt dåligt skick när vi var där - mycket regn perioden innan vår vistelse bidrog säkert till detta.

Wir hatten so eine schöne Zeit in diesem „Mini-Resort“. Es hat den Charme eines Boutique Hotels, ist aber familiengeführt. Die Anlage ist klein und verwinkelt, sehr grün und mit Liebe zum Detail gestaltet. Die zwei Pools sind sehr schön und gepflegt. Jeden Tag kam jemand und hat die Wasserqualität überprüft. Das Frühstück war einfach aber lecker und gut organisiert. Die Zimmer sind großzügig und sehr sauber. In unmittelbarer Umgebung gibt es viele Restaurants, einen 7Eleven, Massagesalons, eine Apotheke, sowie einige Geldautomaten. Der Strand ist in 5 Minuten erreichbar und sehr schön! Aber das Beste war das Personal! Alle waren mega nett und hilfsbereit. Wir haben zwei Bootsausflüge über das Hotel gebucht (Similan & Phi Phi) und beide waren toll! Alles in allem würde ich das Hotel jederzeit weiterempfehlen! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen bestimmt wieder 😊

Die kleine Anlage liegt zentral und doch ruhig, viele Restaurants und Supermärkte in der Nähe, zum Strand sind es 5 Minuten. Manee und ihr Team sind zuvorkommend, hilfsbereit und sehr freundlich. Zum Flughafen sind es ca 40 Minuten. Sehr zu empfehlen.
