Great value, great vacinity.
Hotel is priced well, close to all amenities, which is it’s beauty. Rooms clean and serviced daily. Friendly staff. The hotel we’re refurbishing some rooms which was pretty noisey at times.

Great for the price
Location was great, room was the nicest i’ve stayed in any country or state. For the price you get a huge kitchen, living room, bathroom with a huge tub, 2 outside decks and a hot tub outside. gym is open and a nice pool to swim in. the beach is down the street and a bunch of food is near the area

A reasonably priced accommodation. Very old interior and rooms. But has all the basic facilities you would need. NO iron or ironing board available. Reception refused to supply. Breakfast was okay. You can rent a motorbike for one week at 270 baht per day. Very nice sized pool, but not open until 08:30hrs. Boat Ave and nearby Villa Market easily walkable. No restaurant or bar. They do have good long-term rates for one month or more.

This is a bare and basic hotel. Nothing nice or luxurious about. We were so disappointed we lost all of our money and went to another nearby hotel. The photos are much nicer than I’m person.

The Regent - Excellent Accommodation
I have now stayed at this hotel on several occasions. It is in a great location, very stylish with chilled atmosphere. It is walking distance to restaurants and shopping centre. A short scooter ride to the beach. Very clean and well run establishment. Lovely staff and all amenities supplied. Large rooms, well set out with very comfortable beds. Rates very reasonable too. I will be stay again for sure.

The Regent
This was our first stay in the Bang Tau area and we enjoyed it very much. The hotel is located in the heart of the area, close to the main attractions and the restaurants of the area.

Amazing price with the hotel quality..... except it is in a remote area if u wanna go out better rent a car by urself or hire a driver .... it takes 30-40 mins drive to patong even not in a peak hour

spacious room and close to shops
we enjoyed our 5 nights of stay. walking distance to shops and restaurants. if you want to go to the beach is a bit far we pay 200 in the taxi just to get to the beach. the staff are nice and anyone can go straight to the elevator without noticing the reception. the bed is the hardest bed we slept. the main door of our room is hard to lock. i cannot lock myself even if were inside or outside. but we love the location most.

Great location, very spacious rooms,a couple of small things that could be improved, the bed was way too hard perhaps a matress topper would help and the tap in the main bath would take an hour to fill it and a broom to sweep the floor. The positives are location and the size of the rooms.

Extremely unpleasant stay
This is probably the worst hotel I ever stay by far. The reception is unbelievably unfriendly. The only word she ever say is "NO". Everything you ask, she will only say no. The chamber maid will dash in to the room without knocking the door and even if you hang the "Do not service" sign. I'm Glad I only get to stay for one night. Highly not recommended if you are looking for a pleasant holiday.

Beautiful hotel with a condo feeling
This is a very nice hotel near an upscale shopping area. I recommend that you have a car or motorbike to get to the beaches nearby and explore the area. Very good value. Our room was right next to the pool.

Poor Hotel, not even 1 star never mind 4!!
No facilities as stated! No ironing board which i needed as i was there for a wedding! The service is poor although a couple of the ladies were polite during the day! The chap on in the night sits there with his head on a pillow and shouts if you approach! Disgusting!! The area is nice with very friendly people in the bars and restaurants ! The restaurant was closed and only open for what looked like a poor breakfast. Will never stay again!!

A wonderful surprise!
For a first time visit to Thailand I really don't think that we could have done better!Firstly I must mention the amazing overall hospitality, kindness and good humour of all Thai people. This included the vast majority of the staff members. Shockingly uninterested by tips and constantly desirable to help I must first mention the man at the night desk, my wonderful Marie in reception and the charming Mrs Wan. I sincerely thank them for trying to make our stay as agreable as possible! All I can say is that they suceeded! The room as I said was large, modern, with an emperor size bed, cooking and eating facilities, a confortable balcony AND an open air jacuzzi !! Ideally situated 15 min walk from the beach and 5 min from a wide collection of restaurants bars and supermarkets we were really spoiled for choise. 4 restaurants stood out: Online, Moon and above all Sunset and its neighbour beautiful, clean, inexpensive Thai food with cocktails at the Margarita tuc-tuc! Search NO further. On the down side the breakfast, like the breakfast staff was not good and very often cold. However it is not included in the room price and can be replaced very easily 5 minutes down the road at any shop/resto. Yes the staff dont speak very good english but I assure you what they lack in fluency they more than make up for in service and care. We had some teething problems with housekeeping which were completely resolved after a patient meeting with all concerned. The result was total satisfaction !

exactly what we needed for one night stay
We stayed one night as a stopover as the hotel was close to the airport. The hotel was good value and suited our needs. Pros: Large room with good amenities, close to the airport, quich check in and check out. Cons: Poor breakfast, hotel had no atmospher, just Chinese tourists.

Large tour groups so you won't get to sleep in...
Ok, the hotel itself is very comfortale, i.e. the room facilities, cleanliness, spaciousness and many rooms have very nice views...of the hills (NOT the beach) which is still pleasant. The problem is that, at least in block B - and I don't expect block A to be different, is tiled and the hotel room doors are not sealed nor soundproofed hence even normal speech from guests leaving or returning from outings can be heard clearly several doors down/up. The hotel room doors don't close smoothly and each time they are used make a loud reverberating noise.This hotel caters to large tour groups and often guests from these groups simply do not realise that they are being so loud. They will wake you up each morning at about 6:45am as they are getting to breakfast (7am) before they go out for the day in their tour buses. The hotel cleaning staff makes their own racket right after as they tidy up their rooms. Sound proofing between rooms is poor so you're likely to hear people next door even though they're not being so loud. If you're an early morning person and don't mind getting to sleep till at least 11pm then the hotel is actually quite good. The other concern is the distance to Bangtao beach, it's a solid 20 minutes on foot under the hot Thai sun and humidity so I would strongly recommend getting closer especially if you have kids. The pool at the hotel is fine and the gym facilities excellent though bring your own music and water and towel.

The actual hotel is nice, but it won't be for long because they are not maintaining it. The service was really poor, I'm still waiting on a reply to the email I sent asking about airport pick up. Taxi drivers do not know where the hotel is, and since they never answer the telephone, you'll likely have a hard time getting their from the airport. The swimming pool was pretty dirty, and don't plan on sleeping in, it is poorly constructed and very noisy. The jacuzzi bath was great!

The pool was cloudy dirty. The bed was really hard, as were pillows. Breakfast was horrible. There are some really good restaurants close by. Need a car or taxi for best results. Beach not close. Front desk not so friendly. The maids were excellent. The best part of our stay. Room was huge, Jacuzzi nice, too bad the hard mattress had to ruin such a long stay. We would not go into the dirty pool, not once. Shame.

Regent Hotel
This hotel is rated as a 4 & 5 star hotel but they do not have all the advertised functions activities in place. I have seen a hotel when guest check in want to leave the same day. The Anex tour guide quit working at the hotel due to so many complaints as they are selling it as a 5 star hotel.

My room was HUGE, but on the ground floor - which meant bugs! I don't think the maids are very good at cleaning. They will change your sheets/give a quick sweep but I had cobwebs and a dead grasshopper in my bathroom throughout my whole stay. I also had a few small centipedes in my bathtub upon arrival. My friends did not have these bug issues though, and they were staying on the 4th floor.... The hotel is not that close to the beach i.e. still a good 15 min walk, and that's if you know where you are going! Its in a nice enough area though, lively with tourists but not jam-packed like Patong would be.

A week of exercise and beachlife in bangtao.
On arriwal we discovered a poorly cleaned bathroom.the nightshift staff stepped up immidiatly,and fixed the problem.the food from the regent kitchen was of gourmet class.absolutely fantastic.nice room.a good gym.nice pool.the bangtao beach is in my opinion the best beach on the phuket island.no compearance.6 km long.with the possibility of serenety and privacy.

Nice stay in a pleasant area. New hotel close to big resorts with many choice for restaurants and services nearby. I would skip breakfast and go to nearby restaurants. They only had instant coffee in the morning. Big no no!!!

New hotel in a nice area. Modern and spacious rooms. Scooter rentals nearby. Many restaurants nearby. The Laguna area is one of my favourite spots in Phuket. Price was very reasonable compared to other high end expensive resorts around the area.

One night business stay
I didn't like the first room that opened directly to the pool, but they moved me without a fuss. New room was better, nice view, comfy bed, good shower. It's basically a condo rather than a hotel, so no coffee or tea etc in the room. I got back late and the restaurant closed at 9pm, but they opened it back up and made some food for me which was nice of them and the chicken tasted good. Overall for the price I paid it was ok.
