"DoubleTree ticked all the boxes - cleanliness, comfort, quality. The standout was the customer service which was very friendly (especially the person who serviced our rooms who was always friendly and helpful). Minor downside was that it's not exactly close to any key locations, but the bonus was that we got to know Angel Islington which is a bit of hidden gem (recommend a walk along the canal and the German bakery). We we were able to access all the usual tourist hot spots by bus or train (both available within 5 minutes walk. All in all, very happy with our stay (and we tend to be a bit not picky 😁)"

"A really great hotel in excellent location, if you're looking for solemnity alongside access to the city's heart within a 20 min walk. Coffee machine available 24/7 and has rich selection. The breakfast is nice, and staff is extremely kind and not overly imposing. The *Main* challenge was getting the windows completely closed to darken the room. I woke up very early because of that..."

"Loved the location of the hotel so near kings cross st. Pancras. We were on the train a lot so it was an easy walk. Lots of restaurants nearby and the hotel staff was always helpful!"

"Check in was super quick and Thanveer supported a newer member of staff to get us quickly checked in. He was very attentive and advised we had been give a free upgrade on our rooms the top floor. Breakfast had been included. The room was comfortable and spacious. After an hour of being in the room we received a knock at the door. A lovely lady deliver balloons and a bottle of prosecco off with a nice anniversary message. Food for evening meal amd breakfast was lovely, fresh and well prepared. 20 mons nice walk from Kings Cross, but if you have luggage get a taxi."

"Got a free upgrade for signing up as a member at the desk. The room came with a small kitchen, very comfortable bed, and super clean bathroom. Everything is quite perfect and I would rebook in the future. Convenient to the tube station as well. "
